  1. I have a wetsuit and an offpeak pass. Make it happen, if I'm around I'm down. I can pry wrangle up another person or two as well.
  2. Frost was reporting 10-12. It was uber windy and the headwalls got blow down to ice by around 130, but there was plenty of fresh on the sides of the trails for the whole day. The wind was much calmer on the east side, so thats where we hung most of the day.
  3. Cold fun day at JF today. Rode from 12-4. Rarely seen Pocono pow was everywhere. Crowds were very manageable. Got my dad out which was awesome until he had a day ending yard sale. He's fine. Good stuff. Any one else ride/ski today?
  4. no prob. the timing was kinda shitty for me. I ended up getting a 6 pack for the white friday deal, and then the next day this pops up. but its all good, i've got a nice little satchel of jfbb tickets now.

Transworld, November vol 24, page 42. Early bird 2 for 1 @ Killy. Opening day through Dec 19.
  8. That just made my weekend. STOKED!
  9. I would like to see your full list of ranked superheroes and what exactly they are being ranked on.
  10. Thanks for the info. We just took a peak at the trail maps, and it seemed Snowmass had more to offer for us, that and cheaper rooms so thats where we ended up. Snowmass was a good time for sure. The day we got there was the first day of fresh snow in a week or so, so there was an excellent buzz among the people there which made for a great day. Spent the day playing in the trees and loving life. Had an interesting convo with some Englanders on the gondi there. Asked them why they didn't just head over to Europe, and their response was along the lines of Europeans are stupid and they like the terrain here.
  11. For you Aspen heads: How is the Aspen compared to Snowmass? I got two days in at Snowmass last year and had a blast. Just wondering what the other half is like.
  12. are they from the same company?
  13. You have to pay in a lot of places, just not PA. Luckily it usually only in the $3-6 range, and thats usually just to get into the park. But I've been to several private courses that had like $3/round or $7/day prices.
  14. Just picked up some Spy goggles off of Brociety
  15. Looks pretty cool. I definitely want to get down there. Hows the surface treat your board?
  16. Big Sky and Whistler are on the hit list for me next year. I imagine I'll also do some scheming to get back to Tahoe and Jackson Hole again as well.
  17. There are 3 ish trails open. If you only take the Magic Mile lift, you get around 1000ft of vert. If you take the Palmer lift to the top, you get another 1000 of so. The trails are pretty much just straight runs. You can get some serious speed if you like, but there is a ton of training going on that you gotta watch out for. Also there is a very legit park, and half pipe open.
  18. Day 50 in the books, ties my personal best. Looking to up the ante next week. Still pretty foggy today, but the snow was great so there was fun to be had.
  19. Today was super foggy. Jumps were closed for the most part. Snow was great. Here are a couple shots from the park today... and my lunch: and one for you 2 plankers:
  20. Bluebird day with a temp around 41. Got to the Mt. and was riding by 7:30. Took a lap down Gordon's trail. Snow was good. Just firm enough that the locals were whining starting to call it "ice". By 11 it was almost too soft. Not a whole lot to explore here, but it's still riding in June which is badass. Got to see the High Cascade/Windells camp setups. Pretty serious, looked like a lot of fun. The park set up for the public was legit. I hit a bunch of jumps, then called it a day around noon. The legs are feeling it after the first day back. Hitting it again sat/sun. Sunday will be day 50 on the year for me! Couple pics... Win: View from Parking lot: From the top: Top of Otto Lang(public park):
