i gashed my shinn last year on a fun box at blue and it STILL hasn't healed all the way. big ol scar that I guess at this point isn't gonna disapear. it gashed me down to the meat if not the bone on the shinn and the brilliant doc at the hospital said no stitches. frikin moron. the thing even hurts now and then. so now I wear a shinn gaurd on my right leg when boarding. :-\

you people. Though jibo can back me up on this one, there is this kid at our school who comes up with some really interestiny injuries every year, and serious ones too. -

I wear a RED (burton's saftey brand). It works great, and it's really light compated to many other's ive tried on as well as alot of RED's line of products from last year. It doesnt affect vision at all because they make the front of most helmets accomidating to goggles. I've never worn my helmet without goggles so I couldn't tell you if it does anything to vision in that case, but i think helmets without goggles look funny enough as it is. Just bring your jacket/neck and face gear/goggles to a local ski shop and try on helmets with everything else on to see what fits best with your stuff.
thanks for your help, im goin do some shopping for some new gloves tomorrow (destroyed my current pair) so ill try on some helmets. i still want to be able to turn my head as easily, but ill test that out in the store

what kinda helmets do you guys wear? the full helmet or the notfull helmet? whatss more comfortable. I'm afriad of getting a helmet cause i like to have my peripheral vision (i hate not being able to move my head, sorta like having a hood on)....anyone have problems...what are some good companies? leedom?

2004 FIS World Cup skiing is on OLN Skiing at Saturdays at 7pm ET; Re-airs Sundays at 5pm ET and Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT. Pretty cool, and some great skiing.....

Anyone know if they shut the whole park down on Sunday with the Mid-Atlantic SB Series halfpipe event? I hope not...
last year i believe the park was still open (check out the snow report, with davek in it from last year) as i believe they were skiing in the park?

I don't think it will really be good until Friday. Of course the next day all of the damn tourists will go and screw everything up again, so kinda moot point. As long as there is 25+ trails for next Wednesday, i'll be a happy kid.

With all the crap I do at CB, i've suprisingly never had a run in with a ranger. Lucky breaks and keen eyes I guess.

Ok so I was at cb on friday, and decided to strap on the snowblades and try some rails for the first time. This is what I did to myself on the 40ft rail.

last i checked we are supposed to get snow either saturday or sunday, however i am haveing trouble finding a prediction on how much we are gonna get. my guess is that means it will just be some fluries. but i will take anything at this point.
from what i saw, it was only gunna be light, nothing super huge, just snow....YAY!

im gunna go get a helmet later tonight, leedom scream cut (best helmet they sell they say) in carbon
