  1. From what I hear spandex gets very hot or melts or something with a lot of friction.....So if you could imagin falling down a steep GS (something like cliffy) with spandex melting onto you...It may not be fun...Altho ur balls would get nice adn warm

 yea, is right! It was fun watching the races, but that section where the first pic of skidude was where EVERYONE was messing up, cause you were getting decent speed and then it called for a quick quick turn, we saw so many people get on their tails or fall in that section.. B)

  2. I know alot of us ski at other places, what are some other Mountains everyone skis/rides at during the season?

Blue, ive got a Season passs there, ive skiied there 14 times, and ive skiied 20 times this season so far....

  3. Well they can make it up to 36 degrees and the mt is usually colder than tvile

actually they can make snow in temps up to 39 degrees is humidity is near 0 :P

Does that mean you were just whoring your first post

humidity defiantly wont be 0 though

  4. im thinkin by friday even. They made enough snow for the asp in two nights (i was there friday night when they started, and yesterday morning they had enough) so im thinkin by friday, but no question this weekend. Blue goes 100% tomorrow ;)

  5. Jeff what lodge were you in?  All the racers were in the base one and it was packed.  If only the racers were there it would still be busy but that and all the other people.  As for the lift line I sorta nodded my head at you and you just looked at my skis.  And for challenge....I just didn't see you there dude.

i always use the summit lodge.....but you also stopped at the bottom of paradise talking to skidad when we were all waiting for you, but you stood there for a few minutes...

  6. haha we waited forEVER to see you go (at least 40 or 50 racers) but we got to talk....we were pretty cold too!  :o

My second run I went up to early and it was like 40 racers before I shoudl have been there...and it was now in the shade...I FROZE :(

after seeing you race, ski999 had to leave, so he left, greg and i went into the lodge to have some chili and we decided that it was toooo cold so we said screw it and left :)

  7. Well what I got was blue was pretty shitty.  Lots of icy hardpack. and yeah just wasn't too fun.  CB had a lot more snow and was warmer

today was alot warmer too. But i skiied cb on friday and they didnt have enough soft snow (all ice on the dimaonds) where as when i got to blue everything was nice and snowing except challenge because it was the first day open in such frigid temps, it needed another night of grooming (felt like you were skiing on a vibrator)

  8. I wonder what the temps looks like next week. I want to see snowmaking but don't really want it to be this cold. It was 10F yesterday in NJ at noon with the sun fully uncovred. That's F-ing cold.

i was tellin thinksnow, on the way up to blue yesterday the thermometer said -4 when i got to the top of blue, and when i left it showed +5. yea i want it to warm up at least into the high teens for nighttime lows...give us some ENJOYABLE weather.

  9. it was so bitterly cold today.... I wasn't at CB but at Bear creek (not a bad lil mountain, better terrain parks if ya ask me) and it seems like we barely did any runs cause we were always cold. I was layered to the max just about. and the snow was so frikin slow too... I just waxed my board with all temp wax and it didn't wanna move.... anyways it was so cold that I didn't notice that I think I sprained my wrist till I got home because it was so numb... also the INSIDE of my car windows frosted up while driving on the way home... that's with defrost and heat on high and i was sweating... lol

it wasnt that cold for me yesterday, but after standing and watching skidudes race (and not moving) we were certaintly cold.

  10. aight so I hit up Bear Creek today with some friends for my first time out. I was really impressed by how many rails they had. like 15+ and they've yet to open there other terrain park. my favorites were a mailbox and a c-box. perfect backside boardslide on the c-box was a highlight. I was also surprised as to how easy it actually was.... as long as you hit it with enough speed your basically getting the whole thing. very cool though

thats pretty cool for such a small mountain...how were the trails, and how many did they have open?

  11. skidude: I AM SPANDEX MAN!

dude, how was the GS suit in this weather? lol

lets just say, thinksnow and i were freezing our BALLS off waiting for him to come down, our heels were the coldest thing, my hands were cold as hell too, he had to be dying, though he probaly had his jacket on right till the end.
