  1. we've signifcantly cracked down on validation. now guests HAVE to register to view the board, and once they register, think snow or i have to validate them ourselves. so everyone is getting screened to keep out dave's from viewing posts.

  2. i know ill be here, but i have a question.....are all of u going to still post on the old MB? or are we boycotting it? i just wanna know if i should be checking both

its all up to you. deal with censorship, or chat about cb in a neutral environment.

  5. Hi everyone,

As I'm sure you are aware, Mother Nature's hasn't been too kind the last several days. That's the bad news.

The good news is that we'll be able to put our newly-improved snowmaking to the ultimate test this week, with temperatures forecast to allow for 24 hour a day snowmaking beginning Monday evening. If temperatures get as cold as predicted, you're going to see crazy amounts of snow in a very short time!

The plan is to close trails throughout the week on a rotating basis to resurface them, as well as to make snow on terrain that hasn't yet opened this year. So, for example, on Monday, we'll be setting up guns on Coolmoor, Meadows, Laurel Glade, Birches and Tut, and while those trails won't open on Monday, they'll re-open later in the week and others will be on hold, etc. As such, our trail count will be lower this week as we close trails on a rotating basis.

Stay tuned to the web site, as you're going to see an incredible show of snowmaking firepower this week. For the upcoming weekend of 1/10 and 1/11, we anticipate 25 trails and all 13 lifts. Expect surfaces to return to midwinter conditions and packed powder as our snowmaking efforts progress.

So, stay tuned and think snow!
