Kalispell wouldn't work out with my frequent flier miles, sadly. I'm flying into Great Falls (which is where the bride will be coming from, so we'll drive down to West Glacier/Belton together), and then out of Missoula. Have you ever been to the Belton Chalet before? Should be a good time. After the wedding, we're going to spend a few nights in Missoula, and by "we" I mean me and my two best friends from law school. Can't wait to get into a little trouble with them... my one friend once got arrested for tap dancing on the hood of a police officer's car.... Don't worry though, I'm completely tame:)

The ceremony will have to occur another day. I was disappointed that you guys didn't roll in until like what, 1pm?? I guess you guys are enjoying sleeping in on the weekends (compared with being there early for race practice for Ty). Re: Conditions. Conditions have been AWESOME this week (I was up Thurs, Fri, today). I got up there around 10:45, and the trails were nicely groomed, just starting to soften a bit. Coverage is great, even on the upper mountain. Park: Park looked great, and I even saw some kids airing out of the 22. Very impressive!

Awesome! I'd love to meet up. I am so excited for my trip to Montana--never been there!

I cannot believe you guys are not dressing up!!

Went out for a few hours today. Stopped at Bear Creek Ski Shack to move the bindings +15 on my new Head Monsters. They were super nice and did not charge me. Conditions were AMAZING on the whole mountain. Grooming was awesome. I had an awesome time ripping it up on all the slopes* today. At one point, I guess I passed this guy on Cannonball, and when we both got down to the lift, he was like, "hey way to show me up." I laughed on the inside--this guy mustn't have been that great if he thinks he got shown (showed?) up by a *girl* who is basically on her first season. The big park looked great--nicely groomed. I think I saw some new rails, too, though I don't really pay attention to that kind of stuff. Toward the end of my time skiing (around 2:10), the base of the Phoebe lift started to become a slushy mess. I'll be back skiing tonight. I hope the conditions hold up. Also, I LOVE my new skis:) *Of course, I did not go on White Lightning, because I am too scared to try it. I thought about trying it today since the conditions were amazing, but I was worried that if I fell, I'd have to hike back up to get my own skis b/c I was skiing alone today.

My vote is to send her and one of her girlfriends on a little getaway. I imagine that Naples/Marco Island is beautiful right now.

West Glacier - Belton Chalet, for a wedding. Can't wait!! Never been to Montana. I'll be there for almost a week, and I think one night before the wedding we are going to go out in Whitefish. Sib, you'll have to tell me all the hotspots!!

I agree. Skiing in lightning is not unsafe as long as you are skiing with someone taller than you!!

Hey Kids, Figured I'd post this in case anyone has off tomorrow and wants to check out Sno. Reduced all-day ticket for only $17. Not a bad deal. Fyi, Sno got fresh and man-made snow last night, and it looks like they might get a bit more snow tonight. Conditions should be decent. If you come up, don't forget to check out the boarder cross!! Enjoy!

I only skiied for about an hour today, just long enough to try out the new boots and skis (great, btw). Conditions were as described. The new skis are so much better than the old ones for these conditions. Ha, I don't do White Lightning. And that fence is seriously the only thing that I have ever crashed into (including people!). Depending on how the moving is going, I may be out this evening after work. We'll see. Edit: Matt, glad you had such a great time at Sno. Come up again!
