-8 in Jackson hole, Utah, Colorado etc feels much different than - 8 in Vermont. I too go out west for terrain and snow but it also feels nicer due to the drier air.

-8 is one reason why my ski trips have been west of the Mississippi 5 of the last 6 years.

Frost was good over the weekend. If I were you and needed a place to ski on Wednesday I would go there and save the gas $$ for when Elk is 100%. Frost opened Demattes and will probably more open by Wed. Plus you'll get a little tree action. Just my 2 cents. It was a snowmaking storm when I drove past tonight on the way home from work. Somebody call Ahab cause the whales were out on Blue Mt.

It'll be t2b. It was t2b when they opened 2 weeks ago. Come around to lower main street or vista to chute to lower main main qualifies as t2b no? Unless you want to say that technically the valley is the true "b" in which case we will likely not be t2b this weekend.

I wouldn't call the shuttle a fiasco. Every time I've been on it it was convenient. Much easier than driving through the minefield they call a parking lot at big boulder.

Drove past blue in my travels about an hour or so ago. Not bad but not as much as I thought they would have.

He ain't lying. Today was a blast. Lapped challenge and One Park. Best part was I was expecting A WROD and I ended up skiing this all day... Couldn't believe the amount of tree skiing to be had off of challenge. Really impressed with frost today. Had a lot of fun.
