basin still has amazing conditions. was up there wednesday. east wall is closed. the traverse is closed on montezuma. pali lift/bowl is closed. but theres still a ton of stuff to ride. park is the same its been all season. kinda lame. but they have a nice flat down box that is perfect for learning swithcups

one of the more weirder trips ive been on. which also made it one of the best. the park was pretty lame to be honest so the focus was a little more on the off hill activities....at least for me. plus i have a fractured heel (heal?). low 80 degree temps were tough but it worked. ill put up the first pics of the trip i guess cause i got nothing else to do after pretty much shaving my head. whats up cue ball? obviously more shitty cell pics.... everyone else has legit cameras though so theres sure to be better stuff on the way. most likely all of me. in seattle at pike place market. the fish locks sea-to-sky this is on the way back from whistler aquarium waterfront market again

got to ski in some snow yesterday. not enough for face shots but enough to get yer float on. 4 inches or so. brogan is also up here ridin with his new crew. he seemed pretty stoked on level 1. the movie is gonna be insane.

more shitty cell pics but they get the point across i guess. 5-7-08 at the basin. i think this is a pretty good pic to start off with. dollar for a cup. free kegs all day. i dont think anyone really paid though. the scene... outside the Essi Rv. two main groups here with tents/RV's Essi Eyewear Candy Grind then there was quicksilver and some other random schwag groups just chillin. we actually did ski some pretty good conditions. spring snow for sure. we hiked the 2nd notch in the east wall. still a good amount of coverage. not good enough to ski the whole thing though so we had to down climb a little bit. the hike up goes on just the other side of the ridge, not up it. more of an around hike then anything. (really shitty picture) this is what we skied, besides some other random lift accesed shit. this is mainly what i went for that day. 2nd chute from the right. pretty sick day. the guys (and girl) from Essi were super chill and let us hang out in the RV all day. around 5 o clock we had a massive snow ball fight between the two groups. shit was pretty intense. keg stands and lots of mary throughout the day (not for me of course )... good times for sure. hopefully next year ill have a legit camera haha. get some better TR's going. but for now, youll have to deal with this.

ive been chillin at copper most of the week for sunsation. tons of free shows and some cheap ones that we get in for free. eek-a-mouse a couple days ago, matisyahu was last night, murs was the night before and george clinton/p funk was saturday afternoon, all for free. the day sam dropped that cliff was probably the deepsest snow ive been in. just wish my skis werent exploding, it mightve been fun. abasin is gonna get mobbed soon. open till june 8th.
