I played at the taj 6 weeks before it closed, it was a pretty depressing scene, but the taj was awesome cause it was so gaudy and over the top. I’ve stayed at harrahs 4-5 times, trop 2, and ballys once. None of the hotels impressed me, but the casinos are cool cause they are 80s-90s style with gold and mirrors everywhere lol

Yes, the Tropicana in AC. I had stayed in that tower before so I knew what to expect, but AC hotel rooms are always surprisingly shitty. Not as bad as the mom and pop motels in wildwood, but worse than chain motels like econolodge

Thank you for talking me off the edge lol. I never cared much about rust as it’s gone after a run, but seeing it on a brand new board freaked me out

Not sure if I should say anything to Ride or Fed Ex…
new board came and there was water in the packaging causing rust on the edges. Most of it was able to wipe off but still some marks left. Frustrating to open the box and see this

I’m disappointed/worried about the local Pizza Hut. I’ve tried to order from them the past 2 nights but they now close at 9:00, even on saturdays and fridays which is crazy. Makes me think business isn’t that good. Other than that all good here, not much new. I haven’t been to an amusement park in 10 years, thinking of going.

At work I like 70-72 and office manager usually bumps it up to 74 and I sometimes do for olds as well for heat. Hotel house I’ll go as low as 62 at night. I have a friend who sets temp to 58 at night…that sounds amazing
A/C free here. My A/C is sitting in my parents garage, I’m seeing how long I can go before having to bring it over. I only got the fans out a few days ago
