i havent sharpened my edges in 29 days, which certainly didnt help lol. also, i always pick the window seat so i can sleep

ski patrol told me they were having problems with school kids taking off their gear to slide down on their butts because of the ice, and then losing their skis or board sliding down the hill. he said they lost 2 boards last night and havent found them. i was fully expecting for them to close the mountain early, i was shocked they kept sidewinder open.

Rode from 8:10-10 tonight. Worst conditions I’ve ridden in many years. Not blues fault though, just super windy that blew off any snow. Luckily they were blowing on paradise which was run of the night, and on lazy as well. Night weaver, challenge, razors, and main street were all closed. Ski patrol told me it was cause they were getting dangerous, and I believed him after riding sidewinder, which was a pure skating rink, as well as switchback, which was similar. One of the tougher conditions days of the year due to high winds, super icy, and blowing snow, but the guns being on saves paradise and lazy. Still a fun time and I’m glad I came

Heading to blue in a bit. Gonna be an 8-10 session. Saw the west Chester Jeep in Frazer today, had his skis but was getting in 202 south, but sure if the dog was with him

its amazing how quiet amtrak trains that run on overhead canternary wires are. you really cant hear the train coming until it is right in front of you.

serious question: what does one do to help avoid tree wells? i always assumed stay away from tree bases in fresh snow, but i have no actual idea
