    Taos 2018

Great first trip report NM. I went back to Taos website and was looking at the trailmap/some of the runs you took. Pretty cool that you have some "locals knowledge". Hopefully that snow rolls in like you mentioned.
  2. I'm having some problems with the link too, ill keep trying throughout the day at work. brb they sold out in 7 hours. I would cry. lol.
  3. I was surprised at how many people were tailgating, do any of you guys grill?
  4. What an incredible deal. Should be buying mine tomorrow!!! now hopefully I get to use it at least once this season...hue hue
  5. I feel bad for some of those commentators. Imagine driving from NYC on Sunday, or not having rental skis or no parking. I feel terrible. JK f*** em.
  6. I have not snowboarded out west. Its funny, or maybe depressing. But ive ridden 500+ days yet have only been to Bear, Blue, BB, Camelback, Spring, Whiteface and Stowe. I'm thinking next season ill be able to take a cheap trip out west or nice trip up North now that Ill have a season pass and new equipment and wont have to worry about the cost of riding locally.

    Taos 2018

    I'm a "jibhonk" brah. lol
  8. That's awesome. I'm extremely jealous (in a good way) off your skiing trips.
  9. Awesome, good for you and cant wait to read the TRs. Ironically I was skimming thru your previous "Colorado skifari" from last season.

    Taos 2018

Thank goodness. Admittedly I didn't know about Taos but just looking into it. Wow! Looks to be an excellent place to ride. Here's to good weather and fun skiing!
  11. Generally speaking I agree with you. However I'm feigning to ride and was looking into any options. MC typically has good parks (used to anyways) and I love park riding so I figured Id give it a try. Not looking good though.
  12. Finances are fine, thank you shadows. I had a season pass to Bear for 7/8 seasons so going back to day tickets is rough. I miss the days of frequently going after work and for a couple runs getting my fix and bouncing.
  13. Damn!! Mortgage, season pass, mortgage or season pass?? lol I'll have to take my chances with the season pass.
  14. Any idea how long the discounted passes stay on sale? I would LOVE to be able to take advantage of this offer but I will need to wait till next weekend to take advantage of it. Thanks!
  15. I didn't know he duplicated accounts onto his new forum. I thought those posters actually joined, in hindsight I should have known those posters (especially toast lol) would have never created an account. But I also never thought somebody would go to the lengths that he did. Sooo why is he being unbanned again?
  16. Oh good. So Wednesday hell fake apologize and slowly go back to being the annoying partial troll that he is. Btw, do you know if your old Vermont trip reports are still alive? id like to go back and skim thru them, they're very informative.
  17. I assumed the only reason he wasn't banned was because he actually skis and has apparently met some of you? Other then that he's just annoying and has nothing to add other then bs. Keep him banned.
  18. Fair, but the forecast for Hunter, Creek and Blue all reads rain Thrus, Fri and Sat. lol I'm not getting my hopes up.
  19. damn, this forecast looks depressing. This upcoming weekend looks like a total wash out from here to hunter mountain. I was hoping I could escape the rain and go to Hunter or Mountain Creek this Friday. Obviously I'm going to keep checking but its not looking good right now.
  20. Hey all, left a little early because of unknown road conditions and got to the lot pretty early at about 715. Had to run inside because I used my wrong email reloading my card....opps. Suited and booted by 745, couple hits and worked on my edges a little more and in line by 755. First two runs were up the 6pack to burma then 2 runs up the quad to paradise and dream weaver. By 9 the lines were really starting to form in the carousel. Then 4 more runs off of the 6 pack down lazy mile and sidewinder. On the last I actually walked back up the lower terrain park. At this point "lines" were just 2 masses of people. Ironically I run into a cousin and his fiancé and we end up taking the next two runs down dream weaver and switchback. Switchback was a lot of fun. Cool randomly seeing them as I didn't know they rode and they both ride pretty well. We did 2 runs in about 75 minutes. The mass of people by the quad was as halarious as it was infuriating. I split up with them and hit the lower park, walk the park again(!) and take off after that around 1130. Between a brand new board, seeing my cousin and the good Snow the crowd could be over looked for a little while. Enjoy the pics and bad video, or don't IMG_0583.MOV
