  1. hey all! Just got back from a a quick after work session. Pulled in around 445 and was on the 6er by 5. Couple random things:The carousel was pretty filled up the whole time but I was solo so I was able to make the best of the line. A ski patroler said the quad is fixed and will be up this weekend. Seeing *some* of the tracks under the lift made me SMH, so much debris and risk. Varying conditions all around, mash potatoes in spots, nice packed power in some spots and other ice spots from snow being pushed off. Waxed my board and holy sh*t what a difference it made. Annnnd rode the bumps twice(!) for no other reason than seeing you guys mention them, good time. Lazy Mile>switchback>burma>bumps>razors>paradise>bumps>sidewinder>challenge>switchback. Ill be up Sat am
  2. NEVER look on WebMD. All it will do is make you nervous haha. haha Where did this "ok" response come from? inb4 "ok"

  4. I'll be up. Should be pullin in around 445-5 ish.
  5. Honestly im not too worried about getting there...its getting home thats my concern. Im thinking maybe a 830-11 session and try to be the worst part of the storm. Your trippin lol
  6. F*ck. My car has no chance in this storm. SMH
  7. My car definite cant handle this much snow and after seeing all of the carnage Sat. morning I don't want to risk it... I might have to make a call.
  8. Hope they enjoy the water park! My company did a lot of the work there. Wow, this storm escalated quickly.
  9. Haha noted. GSS told me this weekend that you get DOWN on the grill...
  10. Word. I'm going to bring 2 dozen, (1) box will be 4 glazed, choc/vanilla frosting each and the other box will be 12 randoms. Anybody...let me know if you want something specific!
  11. Haha I feel like I'm missing an inside joke here. Are you really bringing donuts? That was my plan, but if your already providing I can bring something else.
  12. Nice! I used that last week to ride on the beautiful Wednesday we had.
  13. Woot Woot. Can you make out what trails they are blowing?
  14. Yea man no problem. Thanks for reading. It was pretty sad. I could have taken/shared a bunch of pictures of trails with huge potholes, completely bare areas and most of the trails were just white ribbons.
  15. Damn! bummed I missed out. Sounds like you guys had a great day.
  16. Afternoon all, I just got back from my first day at bear in over 3 years. Woke up STILL without power. Took an ice cold shower due to no power and did a little foam rolling as today was my first back to back riding days in a few years. Pulled into the parking lot around 8am and was instantly taken aback by the lack of snow. I haven't checked but I would have to guess it rained here on Friday rather than snowed. They were selling all day tickets for only $25 so credit to them. Quite a few trails were closed including both Sasquatch and Extreme which are my favorite none park trails at Bear. The park set up was a nice change compared to riding the same park at Blue. They have a couple fun rails/setups that I really enjoyed but I only took 4 runs thru the park. I then went over to the back side and rode both timberline and grizzly twice each. By this time I was pretty bored and had about an hour to kill before my sister and nephew arrived so I went and grabbed a vanilla latte at the cafe thats located up in the hotel/spa part of the resort. Sat on one of the decks for awhile until my sister and nephew arrived. My sister then proceeded to zip tie her glove to her pants/ticket...fool. We took about 8 runs mainly down a couple of their beginner trails for awhile. I was happily surprised by my nephews progression since I last rode with him about a month ago. Hes able to link his carves together now and its finally starting to "click" for him! We grabbed some lunch and did a couple more runs before calling it a day. I definitely dont see Bear making it much longer but it was good to get back there again. The drive up, lodge and some of the trails brought back A LOT of memories from my close to 10 years holding a pass. Thanks for reading!
  17. It was nice meeting you guys today. I was literally right behind AtomicJeff who got a much better picture of the tractor trailer then me lol. A bunch of road closures, trees down all over, no salt and easily 10+ cars stuck/abandoned on the way. As far as riding goes I did Lazy Mile>Switchback>Sidewinder>Main street and Razors Edge (for the culture). Repeated those 5 again for 10 runs total and got out of there. By about 1015 the carousel was about 80-90% filled up. I don’t know if it was the wind, the snow, my board or all 3 but I wasn’t able to get dang near anywhere I wanted to without pushing or strapping in at the top of trails. Probably the least enjoyable day of the season for me but its all good! hit the parking lot after and met a few PASRs for the first time. Again nice meeting you guys. Unfortunately I won’t being coming to Blue tomorrow like I told you guys. My nephew wants to go to bear crick so I’m going to oblige. I’ll probably have a small report. Hit my brothers house on the way back and just got back to my place in Doylestown and STILL no power. Word is, well nobody has any idea when. D*mn.
