    gift cards

@0mg, can you message me here regarding the cards? Or create a post on craigslist, if you prefer.
  2. Ugh. Kills me when they do it and let chairs go empty.
  3. Webcams show dense fog everywhere except for Home Stretch. I figure, slalom race's been cancelled?
  4. Whoa, it's almost a crime to keep Stocklies locked up in the basement. I highly appreciate the offer, actually had a chance of riding SR88 for a day lately, but am currently in the process of getting a pair of Lasers. Will likely take a week or two. Thanks!
  5. Not sure why so many complaints about the snow... Yeah, there was some sugar, but in reasonable amounts. Compare this to early Jan when all trails turned to shit literally after a couple of runs. Today there was a firm frozen base, and while sugar did form, it wasn't that bad at all. Well, maaaay be some places like lower park or Burma got real bad real soon, but why would you hang around those places anyway? In short, it wasn't the snow that made me quit around 1pm, it's the crowds and maneuvering between them that became annoying. Plus they closed Vista Room for some private event, and made everybody take their stuff from it. Patrollers really seem to be cracking down on Paradise bombers. I was able to do two fast runs first thing in the morning while the trails were still empty, but after that every time I went there, there was always somebody in red jacket either whistling or staring at my every move. Not worth it. Sidewinder was not that crowded all day long, and Switchback welcomed me with the lack of ice. Really unusual for Switchback. Dreamweaver was used for race warmup early in the day, and was crowded later. Two surprises in the ski department. One was GSS not showing any love to his Atomics, and the other one was some random guy on Stocklis. Don't get to see them often here, and he even had a pugski sticker on them. Yet, the moment I started to feel a little bit excited, he told me that he was going to switch the Stocklis for Kores due to snow conditions. Ugh. Races were fun to watch, they got quite lucky with the weather (lest we forget about some rain tonight). So all in all, it was a pretty good day today.
  6. Watching your BMX from a distance
  7. Where's da report??
  8. I got yelled at a couple of times by patrol, watched a bunch of half drunk high schoolers, learnt that Razors is full of urea and is frozen solid, and am leaving right now. It was a decent night.
  9. Yay, live music in the Summit Lodge. Munching crowds in the Valley. The choice is clear.
  10. Getting real fast already. And the next three days - under 16 state championship. Explains the closed Razor.
  11. Kinda choppy everywhere except for pristine Razor. Gonna be fun when it starts freezing up.
  12. Yes. Actually crowds are picking up. And I was talking about ticket window lines, not lift lines. Had to fix the pass issue. It had expiration date 02/20 for real.
  13. Damn, no more lives left, ticket line is long, moving slow. Won't it be cool if 02/20 is not only start of new season pass sales, but also the end of the last year ones?
  14. Looking for those rollers now. Where exactly are they?
  15. And look how well it held
  16. Nobody's here. A little bit slushy and draggy, but quite enjoyable nevertheless. The real problem though is that my season pass started saying "out of date" and requires a manual override every single time. I wonder, what's that all about.
  17. Wow, looks amazing. And zero people. Must hold through afternoon.
  18. Oh wow, it's actually dumping in NJ right now. Dense, fat, slow falling snow.
  19. He'll most likely do a morning session, and I'll start only around 3-4pm.
  20. That happens, comes with age. But I hear you. JF section is soooo far down on the site, must be visited once in a blue moon. Not like JH right on top, in General.
  21. Sunny, around 40... I think I'll risk it.
  22. Nah, don't like skiing the same stuff back to back. And Frost has tons of base this year, so no worries about it melting down all of a sudden.
  23. The weekend is gonna suck due to rain. You think tomorrow night is gonna be skiable?
  24. Aaahh, I've seen you! The smell actually made me think about opening grilling season ASAP. It's nice that Blue is not the only place seeing some juicy parking lot action.
