WTH? Are you two in one?

I hope they'll open something new by Thursday. Then I'll just take a day off while the rest of the company is getting drunk on a holiday party.

I'm curious, where is this forum hosted, and who's the owner? If the owner is on the board?

Well in the context of skiing late spring is right before the end of the season. Which is rarely after mid April. No, I don't have season pass at Blue or anywhere else. I like variety. A Peak pass would be a no brainer if I lived farther north.

Jeez. They do say that lines were up to 1 hour today. And send bright rays of hate to those BM racers. I'm sure SP holders would get their share if VIP lines were open. My best memories of BM are those of late spring skiing (think about St. Patrick's day) and Sunday nights when upper lodge goes from full house to suddenly half empty, and you alternate between skiing moon-lit terrain and warming up. Not in the bar section, but in the hall that overlooks the slope. Often that hall is closed for special events. You do need slalom skis for all the ice at night. Let's see if the new groomer is gonna change that. The worst memory was the weekend when I ran into ticket line snaking around the sidewalk and the night when some boarder ran into my skis, undid the bindings, and the ski flew into the darkness of the forest. Spent literally an hour looking for it. It managed to get under a log between two boulders.

Dial it back a little. What CB has opened is far from being shit, and you're no judge for others' mental capacity here.

Well, then my honest advice is to try BM one more time next weekend, then forget about it until mid Feb. Or ski Sunday nights and non-holiday weekdays. Do come on 02/21 for the ski demo day.

Is this your first season on BM??

saltyant, it shouldn't be a big surprise for you by now. You would 100% win with BM if you skied weekdays, early mornings, nights or off-peak times. For weekend skiing you chose right where to get your season pass, for you'll always find some empty lifts on CB, like you'll always be in the crowds on Blue.

Man, you party hard after those morning runs!

Don't forget that expresses bring not only single lines, but VIPs also Of course with most of season pass holders here quitting by 10am it shouldn't be a problem for you, but anyway, wanted to give you some ideas for your future trademark TRs.

LOL. "Stuck in the 90s". You nailed me. I'm plain envious of all fat ski owners here.
-
Yeah, yeah, I'm adding it to the long list of the main reasons to get a pass to Blue. You know, deserts, WiFi, stuff like that. Just need to survive this season and then will begin my new life of being appreciated at BM.

Any skiing is better than no skiing. 15-20 mins lines is no skiing in my books. There is a good chance that JF will open next weekend. Now, that's gonna be just in time. They have consistently decent snow, much-much less people even in peak times, and what do you know, the peak times are right around the corner. Can't wait.

They only do this on express lifts. I believe the same deal is with CB. Are the lines long already??

Yep. Then you're gonna be both a skier AND a boarder. Imagine all the envious looks and girls' attention this will bring on

You need to check on your skis. There was nothing slow about snow today. I saw people skiing without poles and casually conquering that hill. There were some newbies stuck there and some kids towed by their parents, but it really didn't require any significant effort to get from Marc Anthony to Honeymoon.

Unfortunately with no express service, a recent storm, short Sunday hours and cheap prices, this will mean murderous lines.
-
My apologies. My battery died in the cold, and I got the phone back up only now.

The guns are on everywhere all day. I think it's gonna be spectacular next weekend. Many more people came. Some clearly have never skied before. I'm reluctant to go. It's getting late in one hand, but the weather and snow are absolutely awesome.

That's like that final stretch at Blue before expresses. I'm sure you've been at CB before.
