Hey All, I'm back from day three at Blue mountain the true mountain..I arrived at the upper lot around 720am and it was in the upper 30s and windy. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Shadows, Matt Edge, Gary, TP4, Indiggio, Slim, Justo, GSSucks, -Dan, Root and many others. The snow today was different than it was Friday and Saturday. Friday was cookies, boilerplate and chalk, Saturday was a mish mash of everything and today was a mid between mad sweet and low and mad apple sauce. The top of Coke around was a mini mogul field..midway you needed to be paying attention still pretty conjested but no real lift lines. Lower Main Street was better than average and easy out and vista were also good. I skied either 11 or 12 runs between 8am and 10am..spent an hour in the lot drinking beer and playing a frisbee game then went to the BMDI with shadows and Atomic Jeff, two omelettes, corned beef hash and eggs, order of bacon, OJ and two coffees was $27'total..was nice being back at the BMDI..great coffee service on demand..got topped off twice. All in all a nice three days of November skiing..hats off to the staff for pulling off a Root Friday opening..especially the snowmakers. See everybody next weekend. I haven't even checked out the weather yet but if it stays below 60 they'll be able to make it but let's hope it gets cold soon.

Hey All, im back from day two of the Blue mountain ski season. I arrived at the upper lodge at 7:20am made amazing time they forgot my hash brown at McDonald's but sausage biscuit was on fleek. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, PARidge, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, Matt Edge, Ryan, Enjorales, Enjorales Dad and many others. I got my pass straightened out and now keep pass in left arm pocket thanks to Roots advice..then no more hokey pokey in the liftline. I think I was second chair today..slacking lol snow was good lipstick on a pig on midway which got spicy and rowdy right quick. Lower Main Street was ok come around is deep and busy and vista had nice cord. Crowds were lighter than yesterday at least the first two others. Shorter ticket lines for sure as well. I think a lot of people who were out yesterday weren't out today. There was an inversion with the temperature already in the mid 30s at the top lot and in the mid 20s in the valley. Guns were blowing down low initially. It was windier than yesterday but not bad. Good parking lot beers today and good snacks with chips, pretzels and jerky. JADIP just another day in paradise. I'll be back out tomorrow. Anybody else??

Hey All, I'm back from day one at Blue mountain the true mountain. Was up early like a kid on Xmas morning and stopped at the McDonald's on 145 for a sausage biscuit, hash brown and apple juice and ended up in the upper lot of Blue mountain the true mountain around 7:55am. In the house today we're Atomic Jeff, Shadows, Enjorales, Root, MBikr Mike, JFDan, PARidge, Kevin, Gary, Gary, Mrs Snowbunski, indiggio, Gary, IceEchilan, SandyAnt and many others. The lineup was pretty low key at the rope drop Atomic Jeff was first down I was second and my pass didn't work so I got it semi resolved in the lodge then mainly lapped nice early season snow on easy out to vista to midway to lower Main Street or come around to midway to lower Main Street. The lift stopped a few times. Sometimes for pretty long. The beers were cold midway was spicy and lower Main Street was smooth and chalky

Everybody make sure they remember everything. I really hope my season pass works. If anybody is chilly Root will be giving out free hugs.
