When I was a couple minutes from my car I wringed out my t shirt and was just dripping and dripping and dripping.

Maybe it was on their instagram stories but right now downhill mountain biking is temporarily suspended due to the comet quad being struck by lightning. Mountain bike season passholders can use the high ropes course for free and bean bags/cornhole is available to all but due to staffing shortages cornhole lessons are also temporarily suspended. Also there’s taco Tuesday in two days at the slopeside pub and grill.

Weird summer for sure but not a cruel summer…or even a wet hot American summer. I haven’t even turned on my AC yet today.

This is pretty far into the summer for us not to have a bunch of 90s or even high 80s.

I only went as far as where I took the picture from. Had to drop delivery guy back at his car at the garage just east of there probably $1,000 less for the work than the big guys on 309. Definitely my first time driving on the road out of BC…I do how the base area is a little bowl…the area I parked before the pond said you have to take a shuttle bus..how often do people have to park back there? I do remember the lake because Nestor’s used to do kayak demos there in the 90s.

I was gonna say well that stinks but they’re letting the bike season passholders take part in upper mountain activities..like the high ropes course and platforms and can play Cornhole/Beanbags on the Lanai

Is anybody still going AC free? My delivery guy said he hasn’t put in window units yet. For those with central AC what temperature do you keep it at? At work I like 70-72 and office manager usually bumps it up to 74 and I sometimes do for olds as well for heat. Hotel house I’ll go as low as 62 at night. I have a friend who sets temp to 58 at night…that sounds amazing

Sorry but why would you ride American dream during ski season? I still have zero interest in going. I’m happy with blue mountain having the shortest runs of anywhere I ski.

No Rohrbacks garage. That’s where my delivery guy goes now for inspections and service..he needs brake stuff and inspection so I met him there and gave him a ride back. All those roads like Longswamp and dogleg and Schlossberg I’ve never been on before and I had no idea lower Macungie went that far my friend that lives near Lehigh valley hospital on cedar crest also lower Macungie.

I was in Berks county all of 20 minutes. Actually back and forth between Lehigh and Berks county a few times cause I got a little lost. This is where I was. Beautiful definitely the Midwest which I consider everything west of Root 100

I’ve never been to red rocks and been to Colorado over a dozen times. On my next trip I’m going to the Mint(not the steakhouse) where they make the coins and also try and see Barb.

Holy crap…here I am glad I’m not under the sea….the weather is going to continue getting wilder. The snow is still like ten feet deep at Sonara pass California near mammoth…and it’s almost chilly here today.
