Seriously, WTF is with this Weather?
GrilledSteezeSandwich replied to Ride Delaware ?'s topic in General Chat
No idea I'm sure Jeff has some sort of an algorithm he used. Anyway I'm gonna fill out a butthurt report. -
What's a stag trip?? Isn't that like an old fashioned term for a bachelor party. Congrats on retirement.

Essentially all my posts from 10 years ago to last year were deleted by one of the asshole mods. When I asked atomic Jeff about it he changed the subject. Bastards cause from time to time I want to read old reports but I can't. -
Wow I've never been in the old factory.

Nice pics Barb how are the temperatures??

Only prissy people care about what the binder and portfolio look like. It's really about what you can offer them and at what price. Do you have the gear to wash a building like tower 6? We use Nacci for most of our printing. Some of our printing we do in house. We use staples for postcard mailers. Postcards can be a good form of direct mail...much cheaper postage and your message is right there without somebody having to open an envolope. -

At one time we gave out can openers with our phone number and logo on it. We don't use any promotional items ie throwaways and giveaways. The cheapest thing is a pen with your logo. People always use pens. Something a little more money which is affective is a refrigerator magnet. People love refrigerator magnets..calendars can be good as well as people use them all year. A lot of our suppliers give us calendars. Unique would be something like a chocolate bar with your logo on the wrapper. Now the problem with that is that once the chocolate bar is consumed your Info goes in the trash. I know all about printing and promotional advertising because I used to sell it. Even sold 5,000 buttons for the gift shop at lost river caverns. Their cost was like 40 cents each and I bet they sell for $1.50-$2 -

Keep it short and sweet nobody is gonna want to read to much. I would include a few testimonials and be very customer service oriented. Stress things like reliability and quality and maybe say that your main goal is to offer a great service at a competitive price". I put together packets for funeral homes I want to work with and they include a brochure, business card, custom design guide and a fact sheet. It is important to put forth a follow up system. Invest in a 1 through 31 accordion file..if you are planning a 2 week follow up and you visited a business today with your packet, put a reminder note in the 30th slot...if not for that I wouldn't get bills paid or follow ups in a timely fashion. -

You said Utah right???

You said you go that way vs the turnpike so you don't have to deal with 22 right? Have you ever considered moving down to Allentown or Bethlehem to eliminate your commute?

In this thread post up some of your favorite skiing and riding clips from YouTube or Vimeo. So many good ones out there as I come across some of my favorites I'll add them to this thread and I hope all y'all do the same. Some of the former Park skiers who ruled the X games earlier this century are now doing big things in the backcountry...Jon Olsson and Tanner Hall are simply killing it well into their 30s Some sick spine grinding in Alaska from the 2014-15 season. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g0FMrjsYAzc Short and sweet powder day over in Japan looks so light and dry and effortless to ski. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mxgAYN0QAP8

Old news. I don't care about green pond. Rather they build something cool like a retirement community and a fun rink. -
The kind words towards Barb and thank you shadows as well.

No that's what I'm saying for how rich he is, he lives a fairly modest lyfestyle. His grandfather was the founder I believe. -

They have the money are just cheap with their employees. I would guess the owner makes in the $5-$10 million per year range and his house is like $500,000 but he donated millions to charity. -
Frontier doesn't fly out of Newark. They do fly out of philly. Frontier has one way flights from philly to Denver for as low as $99 each way. Mark when you're going out is a popular spring break time so might not be that cheap. Definitely in like mid January it would be close to that cheap. Frontier does have baggage fees even for carry on baggage.
