  1. I don't want to win powerball. I really don't want that much money.
  2. Hey All, I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot around 1040am and it was 31 degrees under partly sunny sky's. There were a solid amount of cars in the lot and I managed to find a semi decent spot in the second row about 20 spots from the steps. Booting up I had that good feeling like woo hoo finally gonna ski again. I was a 2.5 layer player..underarmour, polo shirt and jacket. Stopped at the bathroom because nobody beats the wiz or nothing beats a wiz yuk yuk yuk. Out on the snow decent winter condition on vista and midway then Main Street was cookie central. Very solid cookies at that..at the base there was no line for the Burma chair and a half corral for the Main Street chair so I took the Burma chair the whole sessions. Lazy mile was ok..some small cookies and some smooth sections. I can see it getting pretty slick later on as it gets more skied off. Lazy mile was pretty crazy with the majority of the people skiing it. I did manage a couple runs on lazy where there were some clear sections that I could haul ass on haha who am I kidding I hauled ass on lazy when it was packed full of people as well. In addition to the weekday regular season pass people there were a lot of low level skiers and riders on rentals and learning taking some serious spills. I saw two goobers fall at the same time on a very slick chute. I skied the chute once and ended up skiing the freshie man made between chute and midway right between two mini cliffs..ok they were small rocks but cliff sounds more dramatic. Ended my session with more lazy mile action and my last run on lazy it was pretty empty. Felt good to be back on skis again despite the less than stellar conditions. Warmer temperatures and rain this weekend should improve the surface along with some grooming. I ended up leaving around 1230 and they were still blowing snow in a few spots including crossover, Burma and pioneer pass. Ski everyone this weekend!!!
  3. On the way up now. Shit got pretty crunk last night at karaoke. I'll post a report later. Don't feel like carrying phone with me so no real time reports. Looking forward to some chute, lazy mile and upper Main Street action. Saving the beer drinking for Saturday in the lower lot. I bought 8 dirt wolfs yesterday. Ski you later.
  4. No 6 pack today that would require a lot more staff. Slept in today will be up later this morning.
  5. I'll be in line at the 6-pack not always easy for snowboarders to make first chair unless they are VTMark or TP4
  6. Boom and boom smelled backwards is something I have two of whahahahaooey I don't get that. Is that a grateful dead reference.
  7. Nightmare dreamweaver is what i see blowing on.
  8. This roll call isn't about tomorrow or Friday it's about the weekend. Stay on topic people
  9. I'm stoked for tomorrow morning. Gonna be a little Warmer than today.
  10. Looks like they are blowing nightmare to dreamweaver.
  11. Most seasons they open chute early cause it takes like three snow guns to open it. Switchback is one of the longest runs at Blue longer than Main Street. Longer than challenge.
  12. Switchback is usually one of the last to open.
  13. You're hardcore. You gonna be at Blue for opening. I don't know if I'll have anybody to drink beers in the lot with.
  14. Guns are off. Unless they're all on runs we can't see
  15. I don't think a joint pocono pass would help a place like blue who has a few thousand people every year forking over $500+. Prob help a smaller resort. The main draw for the Colorado resorts is that people who only ski a handful of days who live locally can buy a season pass as the break even is so low. The resorts get all that upfront money and many of those casual skiers who live in Boulder and Denver only go w few times. By comparison Jackson hole charges almost $2,000 for their season pass as they are the only game in town and know it.
  16. When I gambled I lost upwards of $20,000 Now just play a little poker for cheeseburger stakes
  17. When blue is fully open it is the best skiing around. Do you keep detailed expenses for everything? I used to keep a spending journal to see what I spent at bars and restaurants
  18. First thing I thought when I saw that was glory hole
  19. I looked it up it seems like a fruit cake. Take the wifey to Burlington for some nightlife. Johnny law says if you take her to trattoria Delia you'll get your knob slobber she might even let you play the rusty trombone.
