  1. I will say that often times we have better ski conditions here in PA than Vermont and Whiteface. Any competent east coast skier should be able to handle icy conditions with controlled skids and hop turns...ice is nice speed is good.
  2. And are generally poor so can't afford good lawyers.
  3. I just realized that I didn't see GSSucks or Justo this weekend. At least the real Kevin Thomas was representing for the Jibhonks.
  4. Haha I figured...

  13. Hey all, I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I left my apartment at 651am and arrived at the lower lot at 7:23am with a stop at McDonald's for a sausage biscuit hash brown and apple juice. Atomic Jeff, Phillycore, Phillycores son Mike, Toast, Ryan, MBike Mike, Indiggio, Tarponhead and Nazareth Jay, VTMark and Matt Edge were all in the house. Temperatures began in the low 30s under partly sunny sky's. First civilian six pack and challenge was nice soft cord and nightmare to dreamweaver was firmer. Upper Main Street was pretty nice cord. Bumps on Main Street were initially firm but softened up a bit and I'm sure at this writing they are huge mashed tator bumps. Skied till 1010 had a golden monkey and can of sugar free red bull then Nastar Jay arrived. I haven't seen him since last year in Jackson nhole. Skied five runs with Jay till about noon. He always has a blast and loves the bumps. Hung out in lot with VTMark and his friend and edge and Jeff and Jay some more had another beer then chilled with phillycore a little. As ice cube said today was a good day...now 63 degrees in the A
  14. Wow just wow I've never done a redeye...
  15. Wow
  16. Not that much...looked pretty much mid winter out there today.
  17. I think people think they don't need em. Most who ski the speeds the PASRs go should be wearing them. It's crazy how many Jackson hole locals don't wear helmets.
  18. Video doesn't work.
  19. The new blown snow keeps the sugar from forming. Snow should set up tonight and be fast tomorrow morning. If it gets colder after this weeks warm spell, they could still make late March.
  20. So unfair I hate being profiled cause I'm white.
  21. Nice that you have an activity you can do with your dad!!! What kind of a journalist were you?? Like newspapers and magazines?? I'm friends with a few reporters!!! I gave it five stars and I usually only give my own reports five stars!!!
  22. Hey all, I'm back from a fun session at blue mountain the true mountain. I left my apartment at 650am and it was in the mid 20s. Stopped at McDonald's for sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin, hash brown and apple juice box. Arrived at Blue at 725am and some douchebag was in atomic Jeffs spot. It was VTMark and his buddy. In the house were Toast, atomic Jeff, Indiggio, MBike bike, JFDan, Ryan, KevinThomas and many others. First civilian chair and first run on challenge was nice groomed hardpack. Razors was closed due to the Pennsylvania state junior racing. Second run on nightmare to dreamweaver was smooth and a little snow due to some sticky fresh blown snow...I really liked switchback, it was a little dark and not to crowded the only annoying run was when patroller concussion Ted was in front of me and he's such a trail whore that I didn't bother to pass him until near the end. Main Street had nice bumps on Barneys..some chalk some slickness and they grew. I skied them at least four times and lower Main Street wasn't bad. At 10:10am after 14 runs I went into the lot for some beers...then around noon was still in lot and indiggios friend got the spot next to mine and grilled up some Brats. He kindly offered me one and some spicy pickles which were top notch. Fueled by some fat and salt and carbs and beer hit the slopes again with VTMark and his pal. Did a Burma run three nightmare dreamweaver a which was sticky chalky snow not really spring snow and also Barneys bumps. Crowds had increased and the wait for the 6 pack and quad was about 5 minutes or so. Took 70 minutes to do five runs the. Peaches out a little after 2pm. Was a solid session nice 20k of vert, beers, brat, sun and nice snow. See everybody tomorrow for some warm weather and fast snow and slow snow.
  23. Nice report. How old are you and your dad??
  24. Cool thanks for the info...The only thing I know about kids is that I was once a kid and I still act like one most of the time. I have a niece and nephew who are 2 and almost 5. Maybe one day I'll take them skiing.
  25. True I know when I used to ski with my dad and was middle school aged I never wanted to ski with him cause he was slow. He didn't even like to drive to the mountain in his ski pants. Yes he would go into the lodge and change into snow pants and wouldn't boot up at the car. When I was a kid only racers wore helmets skiing but most kids did riding bikes and rollerblades. The average skill level of people out last night mostly middle school and high school groups was terrible yet they were all lapping the six pack and paradise and lazy mile aren't that easy for newbies. I know I didn't ski lazy mile until my fourth day skiing and didn't even ski switchback until my second season and didn't ski challenge till my third season. Seems like some just leap right into it.
