  1. No Jews allowed but a private club can have who they want. My Montana buddy Tom used to snowboard. Before he was a crappy snowboarder and now he's a crappy skier. They shouldn't beef they are so similar. Both of them breathe air and support our second amendment right to bare arms. They also both like cheeseburgers.
  2. For blue skiing with snowboarders isn't a huge issue but at big mountains it can be if there are traverses and shit. Doesn't apply to TP4 and VTMark cause they can hold their speed. Mountain coasters aren't on the snow though it's totally separate and they are fun
  3. It's like a skate park not allowing scooters. It's not discrimination in MRGs case cause a snowboarder is welcome to ski there. Not like an establishment that is whites only. A black person can't just paint themself white.
  4. Thanks GSSucks for taking the time to post a report and pictures. Grand targhee was going off this last week. I believe they recorded 22" in a 24 hour period. I have 5 total days at targhee between 2005-2009. It's a cool mountain and when it's not socked in there are cool views of the grand Tetons. Apres vous at JH is a good place to stay away from the crowds on a pow day. The hardcores ignore it and the goobs stay in the middle of the groomed pistes. Right under the lift is a decent face to Hollywood for the riders above. Sure rendezvous bowl will be deeper but less frantic and faster access.
  5. It's good for stoke and sometimes backend squalls and wraparound snow can really add up. Back in 1999 around November 20th the week before thanksgiving it snowed at least two feet of snow at Stowe and sugarbush and Stowe. They went from having s few white ribbons of death to ropes dropping every 15 minutes. I remember skiing the woods between nosedive and goat on like 20" of snow and while at blue 20" is quite adaquate for nearly everything at blue that amount with all the big rocks and boulders at Stowe made things spicy. Any decent storm in northern Vermont can turn into s jackpot it they get the predicted snowfall plus the backend orographic lifting provided by s 4,000 foot elevation gradient. I wanna make it up there later this season. I'll let you know in advance. I'll show you some cool woods.
  6. They've gotta be psyched about this at mad river glen!!!
  7. Wow just wow I don't think POC has ever post pictures before. I wish there was a way to post big pictures directly to the forum like on other forums.
  8. I'm sure spring conditions as its not getting below freezing tonight and it's supposed to rain tomorrow and tomorrow night. I wish JF had a webcam. PoconoOceanCity try to snap a couple pictures. Amazing that they made it considering 92% of the snow blue blew has melted But industry expert RideDE will likely chime in that the microclimate at JF along with modern snowmaking cannons and leaving the piles I groomed helps.
  9. One park is open at Jack Frost. It's a christmas miracle
  10. When I left Virginia earlier was 70 degrees at 930am definitely not fruitcake weather.
  11. You're telling me. The first time I saw a deadhead sticker on a Cadillac blew my fucking mind. After that nothing surprises me.

  15. This winter will turn around prob in February. Root when your ankle is healed you should go out west with toast.
  16. Yes we did but that day wasn't a big pow day. The AV start and early end with two lower faces was in 2014
  17. I've never snapped skis but I've delaminated skis, bent skis and also a binder ripped right off then. I've had pretty good luck lately have had four pairs of skis in the last 8 years.
