Realistically we don't have solid snowmaking temperatures until early December and often it warms up after the first arctic blast. Major snowfall is also uncommon before XMAS. January and February average almost double the snowfall as December. As long as its cold by about the 20th of November big boulder should have a bonk yard open for Root Friday!!! Last seasons November 22nd blue opening with solid coverage and I believe lazy mile opening day could be a once in a Lyfetime occurrence. Last winter was just so freaking cold.

Why are you worried POC it's not even November yet. Would you consider going somewhere in NY or VT thanksgiving weekend if BB isn't open or visit kragan in CO

In Montana speed limit is 75mph on highways and 70mph on two lane roads. If you go 90mph you get passed by grandmas in vans. When I lived there open containers were allowed outside the bozeman city limits. Would usually drink a tall boy on the drive home from skiing.

Yup chains have to keep to a certain standard sort of like how the 49er in Jackson hole is affiliated with quality inn and has improved over the years. They even have flat screens now and recliners. Travel Inn Rutland And Rutland is pretty much the armpit of Vermont. The sirloin saloon also shutdown.
