  1. What have you been snowboarding for 25 years? I don’t even really think most of Jackson hole is that intense most of what I ski there is on the upper intermediate to advanced side of things which I find a lot more pleasant than skiing at Blue..I’ve only skied a few of the double diamonds at Jackson hole all deserve their rating. Jackson is good because it’s close to the airport, cheap lodging, reasonably priced food and drink...and it snows a lot more than Colorado mid winter. Honestly and @NMSKI can attest to, I find crossing the streets in Jackson hole to be more challenging than most of the runs. It’s cause they don’t use salt and I’m a dumbass for walking around in adidas. This year I’m getting those crampons that go over sneakers.
  2. I don’t plan on returning to steamboat. Two days there five years ago was enough but for Salty it would be good.
  3. Steamboat would be good for you. Not that much hard terrain
  4. I’ll have a bagel for you..
  5. Salty but you already had off work that week. Some employers require staff to put in days off weeks or months in advance.
  6. No but this guy I know is a pro at the crane machines. Most diners in the Allentown area have them. I like the coin push machines..
  7. My Jackson hole trip is always open to all PASRs...you’re a pretty well liked PASR OG so I imagine any other trips you could get in on as well. Cheapest and least crowded is January to first week in February..
  8. Nope I bet the arcade at the bowling alley she owned was even badass..probably had a crane machine @saltyant and Adams family pinball lol
  9. Nice forecast great sleeping weather.
  10. Right on was trying to remember how many miles you have on it I remember you saying 70something during ski season. My car is almost at 7,000 miles.
  11. She’ll be old enough to ski by next season.
  12. My parents didn’t let me go to college somewhere where I’d have to fly...I think they feared if I went to college in the Rocky Mountains, I wouldn’t graduate. You can fly to Denver for <$300 roundtrip...gotta reward yourself for raising a kid from birth to college. As for CB..I actually went there in 2000..my second trip skiing out west...but there was only like a 35” base so a lot of the advanced terrain wasn’t open....I wouldn’t go there instead of JH but perhaps an additional trip. I’ve already been bribing myself with future fun because my work has been so shitty lately.
  13. Nice is your car up to 100,000 miles yet?
  14. PARidge you should do Crested butte maybe you could get Toast and JFDan and Phillycore and GSS to come along.
  15. Correct but then their insurance premiums will go up and it’s bad publicity for a mountain that’s a real technical gem.
  16. Yes on the allergies and AC off..I had a hell of a tough time falling asleep last night and was even thinking if it was ski season I’d have to power through an hour and a half session at Blue followed by two hours of beer drinking on little sleep.
  17. What are the two destinations?
  18. https://paweatheraction.com/as-much-as-5-of-rain-expected-in-parts-of-pennsylvania-sunday-friday?fbclid=IwAR3cVZ56iD9VvhGh09V0qDeHSlyYUPySs9FRChugP89zCnu2GG-aOI9CPtk if you’re going away this week you might not have to hire the neighborhood kid to water your flowers wahahahah
  19. It was just a half hour ago are you working in a basement??
  20. Same!!!! But 2 million for a broken leg is amazing wow. I bet Root could have got like tree fiddy when he went ass over teakettle over the root roller.
  21. Customer today wanted to trade advertising in a Spanish newspaper for a tombstone.
  22. Hoe Moe is already thinking about Park City..I’m thinking about the fact that I have a 430pm appointment...that’s like overtime for me.
  23. Continue north to Jackson hole afterwards and ask people in the Tram line if they have change for a nickel.
  24. It depends on the season but odds are like 2/3 of the mountain will be open by then mainly greens, blues and light blacks. The steepest terrain often opens later. You’ll have the mountain to yourself.
