tubing jump could use some work. lip was the perfect pop but the landing is too mellow and the knuckle isnt really defined. still fun to ride but lots more impact than if the landing was steeper

the lips on the first two down rails in cascade could be a little wider

loving the cascade setup. feels so good to be able to hit that many features in one run again. lip onto the skate rail is super funky. throws you up wayyy too high. other than that stuff is on point.

cant wait to get some s rail action tomorrow.

there is next to nothing to do during the weekdays considering there is about 20 kids actually riding the park. they could not do one rake run all day and it wouldnt show untill the after school crowd showed up around 4. weekends are another story however and i see park crew out in full force on the weekends.

i dont think one thing has been rutted all year besides maybe a flat box, which doesnt count because everyone and their mom knows how to hit it so of course its goign to get rutted. there is no way to keep up with the traffic on the easier features such as the super wide flat box. jump landings are the same, you cant fix them unless you whip a cat out of your pocket. there are times, especially this year that the snow just doesnt hold. when the snow is all granular and loose there is almost nothing you can do with it. its going to get destroyed as soon as one person hits it. sometimes nothing can even be raked or dealt with till mid day becasue the snow needs to melt a little bit to get it a little stickier and easier to deal with. i would rather them wait till theyre done blowing to build. there is nothign more annoyign to me than hitting a rail thats so low that my tips touch the snow. so far it look like they have two lines. one goes : donkey d, down cannon, s rail and the other goes down rail with the lil flat at the beginign, arbor rail then that slippery rail with no skirting. looks fun!

by the webcam it looks like theyve hit dirt already on cascade.

this winter blows. if bear had more snow they have the potential to be easily the best park in the area. we have such wide open trails that would be littered with features.

his name is paul i think. ive seen and ridden with him once or twice at blue.

the park is fun and the lift is fast. it takes more than two minutes to hit everything in the park. the jump line is solid. i heard the air bag isnt all that great though i havent tried it yet. the upper lodge has automatic doors which makes carrying the ski bag and skis much easier.

stoked to ride the new setup tomorrow! havent been to bear since last sunday or saturday i forget!

no elan in there... bummer. cant wait to get on the tbts sometime next week.

id do it if it wasnt so expensive. surprised blue doesnt get their race team in on it? i think a decent amount of race team kids did it last year at bear. do they leave the course up after the event? havent ridden a skier cross in a few years.

this. park blew in the morning it was a straight ice skating rink then once it soften up it got super nice. everything is on point for sure. 3rd jump is prolly the best. lift tower rail is super fun.

if the jump on cascade has to get pushed out does that mean there's enough snow for an actual rail line... OR TWO?

cant say i'm the biggest fan of the mini jumps either. the three lines in lower black bear definitely fell apart. id like to see the circle bar flat down setup as an a-frame where the mini jump is after the candy cane. that would make for a pretty fun line up rail, down rail, aframe. second jump in black bear is still super fun.

yeah that up rail is super fun. too bad the snow was so terrible today. what the hell winter, its january not june. why was it 60 out today? well be lucky if bear makes it till their already scheduled closing date haha.

yeah top jump could be pushed bigger... or what i think would be sick is a entirely flat lip with a defined knuckle like 10 or so feet away. pretty much like an anti jump. it would serve as a good setup for the two jumps after, since its pretty much not big enough and we dont have enough snow for a semi legit jump there i think the anti jump would be pretty sick.

skate rail is terrible something else needs to go there. rails in lower black bear are fun but the first set is hirting right now choice of bad flat box bad skate rail setup down or bad mini jump. everything else is prime thouh. jumps are great. rail in the spine is way more fun now that its a little higher out of the snow. id like to see the circle bar like the one next to the dfd setup urban down

so hype. jump line is looking soo dope. cant wait to send it on thursday.

i plan to clear it next time i snowboard... its on.
