Ski
So it was 3 degrees, with a -25 degree windchill...and the first day of a very long and hopefully illustrious racing career began today...

ThinkSnow
Awesome! I have my nephew asking me when I'm going to take him (4 1/2). I'm thinking about next weekend.
AtomicSkier
you're crazy ski999.... think she'll be better then your oldest?
Ski
Naw, just different. My oldest skied for fun until she was 11 or 12. She raced just because she's competitive and she's just as, if not more, intense about her running. I'm still trying to carve a turn as perfectly as my oldest...but it's just not happening. Ski
I thought she raced by herself? Nonetheless, nice skis, and nice ski patrol jacket <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She does. No leash. I'm just slipping the course (aka plowing out the ruts) for later racers (me included). The red jacket? People ask me for directions almost daily...always happy to help. But I won't tend to broken limbs.
