RootDKJ Posted March 19, 2010 Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) Date(s) Skied: 3/18/10 Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain Conditions: Creamy Trip Report: What a gorgeous day to go skiing. It was 71*F when I left home and a very sunny 68*F when I arrived at Blue Mountain. I cracked open a beer and quickly booted up. Pulled my ear flaps out of my helmet and left my goggles in the car. Man did it feel soooo good to be skiing with a warm breeze on my face under sunny skies. There's a sink hole on Paradise and a few sketch spots here and there, but otherwise the base is holding up really well. At least 2-5 feet everywhere. Base depths Dreamweaver Razor's Edge The Big Air Bag has been moved over to Central Park The Hole on Paradise Sunset - I took these for Johnny Style who misses the sunsets at Blue while living the good life out in Aspen! Crescent Moon over Tut's Lane This was my last RAW at Blue this season, and probably the best one as well! I gotta say CB has a deeper base, but still both mountains are holding up very well. I was rocking a tshirt and shorts at camel yesterday. Got some funny comments, but man I was still warm!
