this is starting to look fairly promising. much better than 55 and sunny anyways.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

 

A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. SEVERAL

INCHES MAY ACCUMULATE IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN WITH EVEN AN INCH OR

TWO POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEYS. MOST OF THE SNOW SHOULD OCCUR AFTER

THE WEDNESDAY EVENING COMMUTE AND END BY DAWN THURSDAY. AT THIS

TIME...THE MOST PROBABLE OUTCOME FOR THIS EVENT IS SNOWFALL OF 1

TO 4 INCHES BUT THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF 5 OR 6 INCH VALUES IN

THE POCONOS.

i've been keeping an eye on this the whole week. if it pans out it looks like we'll be skiing @ hunter this weekend (knock on wood!)

Thats a hike. Hope there's terrain open for you. I may try it next week.

 

4.5 hrs isn't bad at all, considering there's nothing locally that's even close to opening. (it's way better than the 6.5-7 hrs to get up to k-mart!) the latest winter weather advisories i saw have bumped the projected max snowfall to 10-12 inches. if that does pan out then hunter should have quite a few trails open.

 

although, if it doesn't happen then we won't be going up, lol......
