Solitude 12/31/25

Hey all,

I’m back from another morning at Solitude mountain.  I arrived at the lot on the bus at 7:15am and it was 34 degrees with a big inversion with a big high pressure sitting overtop the area.  Supposedly some low pressure waves coming through the next few days.

Lapped some Western groomers off the Moonbeam, but with the lack of recent snow conditions are getting compacted and fast.  Took a run down a bump line and it was firm and fast.

Rumor was they were gonna open up the Eagle Express 6 at 9, so stayed in the area.  9 rolled around and they announced it was opening, so made my way over there.

The Sunshine Bowl run was cookies, marbles and scraped off, bringing me back memories.  Off the top, the East aspect was wind-blown crust but a little ways down it was nice powder.

Lapped the Eagle a few times to find some freshies and then bugged out to get some stuff done at home.  Hopefully the incoming storms dump something good.

How long is the bus ride?  We miss you at Blue but I don’t miss the light colored font in your posts.  Maybe a mod can fix it.

40-45 mins in total silence.  Everyone either sleeping or looking at their phones.   I guess everyone would be sleeping prior to cellphones.  Mostly workers on the first bus with only a few of the hardcores who get up early.

i don’t know why the font would be light?  I don’t do anything to change the color on purpose.

Oh if I was on that bus I’d mention blue mountain and prob @saltyant hot sister lol. I thought the dont is light from posting on word and then transferring and all good.

Yeah, sorry @indiggio. I had to give this thread 4 stars due to that white font. I had to strain my eyes to read your report. Otherwise, 5 stars and WTGAI !!!

My only theory is that I'm using dark theme and it's affecting the color of the font.

Perhaps @AtomicSkier can help or I guess I'll have to try to remember to switch themes before posting.
