    Finally

I'll try not to wake you when I drive out.

    Finally

Hope your Mom doesn't forget to wake you up...
  4. Sorry for the late response. I've been ex-communicated from the electronic world. You are all essentially right - Children have relatively big heads and weak neck muscles, so some surmised that young children would be predisposed to cervical spine injuries from helmets. There is no hard data to support the theory in skiers - And, a study from Whistler disproves it -> Although a helmet won't save you from massive thoracic trauma if you hit a tree at 60 mph, it's clear you are statistically more likely to do better in a crash when wearing a helmet. I always wear a helmet because brain cells don't regenerate. Sonny Bono

They are basically making snow from West (Birches) to East. Their "conditions" section details what they think they will have open.
  8. Hey Sib, where are those vertical feet? I'm already over 200,000...though only loosely following vertical this winter.

    Finally

Saturday, 8 AM. See you there...
  10. Skidude also won his age group for the ASRA GS race, on Highline; a Killington black diamond with a headwall of solid ice.
  11. Speaking of strength, I noticed that atomics are popular amoung the male olympic skiers, but not the female ones...the women skied everything. GTG, this is costing too many yen.
  12. I got to see it - the Kyoto news showed it...he was terrific. He is way faster on atomics.
  13. Points for EMT. Very nice. Hopefully, K-Mart will continue to build their growing base.
  14. Welcome June, glad to see you made it over. Stop back anytime...we need more X chromosomes around here.
  15. They are reporting powder, but they use creative leeway in what they consider powder at times. Regardless, Lineski2007, they are having a demo day on Saturday, so it wouldn't be a bad time to make the trip.

1602 feet. That's more than Hunter, and twice that of CB. Here's a vertical foot link: http://www.verticalfeet.com/
  17. lol, that reminds me, I almost kissed a bear this spring at Cameltop, ripping around a blind corner on roller blades, before I learned to stop. This huge bear was right in the middle of the path. It was a good thing he decided to lope off the trail...shredded skimom...it would not have been a pretty sight.
  18. CB closes because Pocono day ticket buyers stop coming when the crocuses start to bloom. There are only a handful of true ski fanatics around here.
  19. What, no pics?
  20. The 'dude knows enough to stay away from women who bash their competitors knees in. Maybe she's more your type?
  21. You guys have me totally lost...it sounds like you are racing up hill.
  22. Never been, but I heard it's upscale family skiing.

    Tempting.
  24. Ski999: Next time I'll take a pic of you and skidude ripping down together...partners in crime.
  25. Jeeps may look cool, but the important questions are "how many pairs of skis do they hold?" and "is there a (ski) length limit?"
