you don't need to worry about getting stopped with your cruise set to 75 in a 65. I have never heard of anyone getting stopped going less than 80 in a 65, at least anywhere in the mid Atlantic or new England.

the way it was explained to me is that since statistically children are more likely to fall out of chairs with the safety bar down due to a false sense of security, loveland has chosen not to include bars on the lifts. you going to be around next weekend still? I would love to take some runs with you.

yep, this is my 5th year. I am a graduate student in civil engineering i skied 2 BC runs in dry gulch today pictures to come.

things are coming along nicely here in CO. Loveland has 2 chairs and a decent amount of terrain open (not only groomers anymore). Me and my friend mike also took a few laps on loveland pass today as well. I just hope the heat this coming week doesn't set us back too far. but it is still october! here is a pic from today in bounds at loveland.

loveland doesn't have anywhere near the snowmaking capabilities of anywhere out east. And, even if they had the physical capacity, they are limited to the amount of water they are allowed to use per day. Water rights are a very touchy subject out here. plus its been hella warm. However, there is a winter storm watch for up to a foot sunday night into monday. Beat that sunday river! yeah its a green, but by no means a jack frost or big boulder green. there is some substance to it.
