  1. Yes, I always take my skis off when I slide down the mountain if possible.
  2. I don't know what they were. I had to buy a pair of sunglasses for 10 francs so I wouldn't go blind up there in the mountains, and that's what I went with.
  3. I didn't slide down Hump. I slid down White Lightning. When I stood at the precipice I thought I may end up another fatality at Montage, so I decided to slide down so I could ski another day.
  4. Yeah, I've been in there twice already. Definitely the coolest restaurant in all of Denver, maybe even American. I think jet setter is more appropriate.
  5. The phone I have now is much better. These pictures were from 2014. But ok, I might consider getting a better Android.
  6. Is Mad Taco as good as Casa Bonita? I have high standards for Mexican restaurants after eating burritos and white rice while watching cliff divers and pirate battles every 15 minutes. Never went in Black Bart's Hideout though because it's too scary fer youngans.
  7. I'll be driving the whole time. The Forerunner quad is only 3 miles from the hotel, and I'll want to get First Trax. I'll take root beer suggestions. Thanks Steeze, wouldn't want to waste any bandwidth on beer, though I will drink a Mike's Hard Lemonade every few years.
  8. Of course, not, I'm not a nerd.
  9. I was addicted to Euro Truck Simulator 2, until I rage quit after pulling into the wrong delivery area and being unable to back up the tractor trailer after driving all the way from Brno, Czechia to Aberdeen, UK. Sorry to hear about your Typhoid. That's rough.
  10. Here's another very cool pic from Jungfraujoch. This one was accidental because I couldn't figure out how to aim my cell phone camera for some reason. Also, an ultra high quality mountain shot from my Jitterbug:
  11. I enjoy food sometimes but other times i want to get back to something else, such as playing a fun PC game, and just eat as fast as I can.
  12. Eating should be done as quickly and efficiently as possible to allow the eater to move onto other more interesting activities. As long as you don't feel hungry anymore, it does not matter what you eat. Captains Wafers are also a good choice for quick meals.
  13. These stories are so depressing. Every time I ski Hump at CB I think of the snowboarder who died last year. Wonder if it was someone who was skiing beyond their ability, or a collision with someone?
  14. Currently eating at KFC. My reminiscing of the KFC in Rutland made me hungry for chicken tendies. Nice, my Stowe thread really took off and I'll have a lot of good reading material for after work today. Thanks!
  15. I know a guy that eats animal crackers, chocolate bars, and pretzels for dinner and he's 20 years older than me and healthy. True story. So I should be fine.
  16. Nah, I plan to bike 5,000 miles this year, so I can eat Big Macs and Whoppers all the time.
  17. No I am serious. I've stopped trolling a long, long time ago. The problem now is even though I post true statements, people think it's trolling because most of what I do is bizarre to other people.
  18. Northern Lights Lodge. Its cheap, close, and has good reviews. Thanks for the tips on eateries. Last year at Killington I stuck to the McDonald's dollar menu mostly, although I did expand my horizons a few times by going to Taco Bell and KFC.
  19. Do you mean this building below? I'm pretty sure that has the balcony where you can see the valley and Lauterbrunnen which are around 9,000 feet below. I didn't take a special tour though. Ironically, they have a tiny ski hill but I didn't ski and instead took a hike to another side of the mountain, which I found to be really fun. I can't believe it was that hot up there, it was about 30 degrees when I went in mid-September.
  20. Yes sir, I did 8 countries in 11 days on a group bus trip. England, Belgium (drove through without stopping), The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France. Here is a picture of me at the top of Jungfraujoch mountain in Switzerland, which was my favorite place. Damn, it feels good to be a gang-ster.
  21. Damn, that map is huge! Looks just like MC as you say in your post because it has 3 peaks. I would get lost despite my navigational wizardry. I'm jealous you get to see Neuschwanstein, that's high up on my bucket list. You can ski on Kastles and then go to a Castle. That's so cool!
  22. Nice, you were just like Producer Joe. http://www.freebeerandhotwings.com/pg/jsp/media/videoplayer.jsp?pid=22680 Can't wait to get some free cheese and also to take the B&J tour. Thanks for the tips.
  23. I think an admin told me that it's against the rules to hijack your own thread. It will be a fun experience regardless of the weather. Maybe I'll stop for some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
  24. I hate mentioning Stowe on the Camelback forum, but the weather is looking great so far! 5-8 inches of freshies inbound next Monday, and then cold temps all next week. Looking excellent so far, despite a few brief warmups and rain showers forecasted.
  25. Thanks. I was wondering what black trail to start on, since I've yet to ski a black outside of NEPA. I'll start with Nosedive. I plan to ski as much of the mountain as I can. I wonder if I'll have bad luck with the conditions like you guys had in the past. That's surprising to me because I thought northern Vermont would have great quality snow throughout most of the winter.
