  1. For some reason I thought this is what you would say. Yes found a rad powder stash on Lower Runaway and Lower Fastrack since everyone was skiing the double blacks early on. Was just way too epic. The report will have to wait until tomorrow night since I'm eating Chinese and then heading to Camelback for a few hours. Does it count as 2 days if I double dip???
  2. Oh I tackled them alright. Foot first with skis in one hand and poles in the other. But I did in fact make it down!
  3. I made it down White Lightning and I didnt even need ski patrol! I even managed to stop a few times to take some pictures. They forgot to groom White Lightning so it was a mess, gigantic moguls everywhere but I made it down and didnt even get hit by an airboard.
  4. A bad night of skiing is still better than a good night of anything.
  5. Nah, remember I did basically the same run 51 times in a row on opening day, so I wouldn't say it's a wasted run.
  6. Uh oh I hope I don't get airboarded tomorrow. Hopefully they don't airboard down White Lightning which is where I'll be all day.
  7. Seven Springs has 750 feet of vertical drop, but Camelback has 800 feet so therefore Camelback is bigger. Also Seven Springs doesn't light all their trails, and I'll only be night skiing. Staying in Ligonier.
  8. Next Thursday and the Thursday after, weather permitting. Super stoked. It looks like a mini Camelback.
  9. See I knew it. Thanks Mr. Grilled for your continued support.
  10. The glades should be really nice but I think I'll opt for Montage because I haven't skiied boomer or smoke yet, and I want to ski top to bottom on runaway or fast track now that they finally have most of the mountain open. I try to get to every local mountain at least once each season.
  11. Thanks. Don't want to scratch up my new RTMs. I believe it was your post which convinced me to give Montage another try since you said their snow quality was really good. For me Its between Jack Frost and Montage tomorrow. Im ok taking slower lifts sometimes for better snow.
  12. Really want to check out Montages glades. I hope they groom the powder on most of the trails. Also I might ski the glades next to my house. I have a large forested area on a hill.
  13. Yep. Thanks this is solid advice.
  14. Debating taking off work tomorrow to go to Montage. What should I do?
  15. What do you mean. I took main street lift after last run so I didnt get stuck at the bottom, since you ski lightyears faster than I do.
  16. Wow just wow eaf I think you're the new troll here since I threw in the towel.
  17. The free wifi at the hotel rules. I can view images again while skiing.
  18. I never understand the need to being anything in the lodge, or the need to rent lockers. Just boot up at the car like I do and get on the snow. Leave your junk in the car!
  19. I hit over 52 mph on Razor's Edge last Thursday and they were still way ahead of me. Good advice. I was going to head over to Pocono Raceway after the crash, and do as many runs as it took to regain my confidence, but then Ski2Live provided me with his location so I joined him. Pocono Raceway is a nice wide trail to make turns on.
  20. Nah. My days of getting my panties all up in a bunch are long long gone (mostly). Nice job on the Zelda 2 video. That guy's channel is amazing. I found it yesterday and have been watching a lot of his covers, since I love video game music.
  21. I was expecting to get yelled at for that, but your post was pretty chill. Thanks! To show my appreciation, here's an awesome video of a dude singing Zelda 2 in acapella. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ_r_TCDG58
  22. Well 9 years ago is relatively recent, since everyone on here has been skiing for 50 years, so I was correct... from a certain point of view.
  23. I'm super lazy when it comes to skiing, and honestly getting from Stevenson to Sullivan doesn't bother me one bit. The Caesar trail isn't so bad, but yes it requires a little effort. What I really like about the Stevenson side is in the morning, when there's no line, you can take 3 different trails which are all 100% downhill from the top of the lift, and then get right back on the lift without any effort. Edit: Yes, I know Blue is equally good in this respect, but I believe I was comparing CB to MC, not CB to BM.
  24. I was quoting PARidge from a recent Camelback trip report: https://www.paskiandride.com/forums/topic/13848-tr-camelback-3-28-2009/
  25. While I've played the SNES and N64 versions ad nauseum, Rainbow Road on SNES is just so much better. The N64's version is way too long and watered down with walls along side the track. Also, the newer Mario Karts are just way too cartoony for me. I'm old school when it comes to video games.
