    Damn, that map is huge! Looks just like MC as you say in your post because it has 3 peaks. I would get lost despite my navigational wizardry. I'm jealous you get to see Neuschwanstein, that's high up on my bucket list. You can ski on Kastles and then go to a Castle. That's so cool!

    I think an admin told me that it's against the rules to hijack your own thread. It will be a fun experience regardless of the weather. Maybe I'll stop for some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

    I hate mentioning Stowe on the Camelback forum, but the weather is looking great so far! 5-8 inches of freshies inbound next Monday, and then cold temps all next week. Looking excellent so far, despite a few brief warmups and rain showers forecasted.

    Thanks. I was wondering what black trail to start on, since I've yet to ski a black outside of NEPA. I'll start with Nosedive. I plan to ski as much of the mountain as I can. I wonder if I'll have bad luck with the conditions like you guys had in the past. That's surprising to me because I thought northern Vermont would have great quality snow throughout most of the winter.

    I looked at it a few times. At Killington I just skiied all over the place without knowing the layout and now I have much of it memorized. My plan is to hit Four Runner lift as soon as it opens, and hit up some of those blues and maybe even blacks.

    Oh geeze I dont know I hit 43 mph this weekend on my current wax But I can certainly look around for wax and a waxing iron.

    The conditions and my skis were both fine. I dont make excuses for mediocre skiing. I mean my skiing wasnt terrible, I didn't fall at all. But it certainly wasnt as good as my potential. Whatever though, I'll take a more laid back approach from now on because its just about having a good time afterall. Plus I got Stowe coming up in 2 weeks!

    I was skiing excellent Wednesday and had a lot of fun on ungroomed terrain. Then this weekend I could not ski that well no matter what I did. Im trying to improve but just felt stuck in a rut this weekend, and I dont know why. Despite a few funny jokes I've posted, I actually dont care about stats, or about getting maximum value out of my season pass... Although I am well under $1 per run for this year alone! Ok fine I'll take a lesson. Or six.

    Thanks PARidge. Good advice. Sometimes I tend to overdo things I enjoy because I forget about moderation. The only thing I'm confused on is what the hell is a saltlick?

    A similar thing happened to me at Camelback. I lined up correctly at the load here line, and a young kid sat in my spot. I was half on the lift and they shut it down so I only fell a few feet. Since it was a young kid who didn't know any better it was understandable, but from now on I make sure I'm lined up with the person next to me in line, and keep looking over my shoulder for sleepers who are going to take my spot.

    Pretty decent. Some mashed potatoes on Big Pocono and a few of the steeps, but otherwise the snow was good.

    Nah, Camelback is still the bomb. I'll just ski a little less the rest of the season so I dont get sick of it. Skiing at Camelback too much is the same as eating too much of your favorite ice cream flavor. It will be just as good again after not eating it for a week.

    Oh that lol. I wasn't aware I ask a lot of questions until Atomic pointed that out, thanks. But at least I sort of know you guys from posting on here. I hate when random people that I will never see again after the lift ride start asking me personal questions.

    Meh, the last 2 days have been pretty uneventful. Starting to get bored with skiing, I've done every single trail at Camelback ad nauseum at this point. Maybe I'll take a brief hiatus and go road biking next weekend instead. The highlight of my day was when I was cranky this morning and some dude on the lift ride kept asking me pointless questions, like what do I do, where do I work, am I married, do I have kids, etc. He was a nice guy, but I hate making unnecessary small talk with people on the lift sometimes unless it's an interesting topic, like skiing or something.

    Cliffhanger isn't exactly a green trail... The sign for it says extremely difficult.

    You got it. It didn't look that severely bumped up from the bottom, but it was by far the most challenging slope I've ever been on so far. Later that day I went to Camelback and practiced skiing ungroomed steeps such as Marjie's and Cliffhanger. It was pretty fun, and the moguls were within my ability level.

    That was just the one time! I've made 669 runs this season and for 668 runs I made it down with skis attached. Do I need to remove that run and vert from my stats? Or can I keep the part that I skied on (groomed trail that leads into White Lightning)?

    Just realized that's a Billy Idol song. Literally the only Billy Idol song I know is White Wedding from Grand Theft Auto. I'm going to download this song to my Spotify and play it tomorrow when I'm skiing Cliffhanger with myself. Thanks!
