Blue employees had their interview with KSL management for their jobs this week. I heard Barb is staying on for 5 years and no real changes this year.

Just curious how you managed to qualify for your shot. I’ve been bugging my 26 year old to try and get one, not eligible as far as I can tell.
Essential worker and medicinal smoker. They don’t check for either though. -

My 2nd is on monday. I plan on stocking up on gatorade and smoothies and not being able to get out of bed for 24 hours. First shot gave me a dead arm for like two days, a headache for about 24 hours, and swollen lymph nodes for a few days. Fully expected to be absolutely wrecked by round two.
Boo skied the next day after her second shot. HTFU-

What were the common symptoms (nausea etc.)? I go next week.
My first shot had more of a reaction then the second. Arm soreness, balance seemed a little off, and felt hot but no temperature this round. -
Did you get sick from the second shot at all.
Sick? No. Common symptoms that it was working? Yes.-

Got my 2nd Fauci Ouchie yesterday. In and out under 10 minutes. I was impressed with how Rite Aid handled the process. Hardest part was getting a time but after that they send text reminders, appointments were quick, and people were friendly(at least at the Brodheadsville one).

I saw liftie Bob today(Grateful Dead shirt at 6 pack at Blue) and he said those quad chairs have 1 pin that connects the chair to the grip like the oh shit pin on a helicopter. He thinks that snapped from wear and that’s why it was able to go uphill until the sudden stop made it detach. I was trying to tell on the picture of the wheels if you can see the grips attached but I can’t really tell.

Skied 545-715 with the fam. 62° when we arrived and 58° leaving with super soft snow. Got a fist bump from @antman12on our way out to the snow and the rest of the hill was empty. Most likely the last day of the season for my little one so it was nice way to end it.

I did stop at PASR party briefly around 1030. Talked with Toast a bit, everyone else looked pretty occupied. Didn’t even bum any delicious food, as I got hangry on my 2 hour ride from Jersey, and had some Wawa. Skied from about 11-2, hung out in lot a bit. Fun day. Thanks Indiggio for for fixing my phone [emoji106][emoji106]
You did get to chat with my wife for a bit. I didn’t know that was you or else I would have said hi. She’s not on PASR but does get after it occasionally. She wasn’t sure why someone asked what her name us until she realized you meant online name [emoji23]-

we’re up to 7 dead rabbits in the back yard this year thanks to her.

6-745 mostly on the slow trails with the fam. Empty and the snow was grippy and pretty good. Super light rain with lower 30s temp wasn’t bad. The ice cave on Nightmare is coming along nicely and looks like we should be able to ski through it this weekend.
