It was a great way to end the trip. Snow report listed 5” but the sign at the lift said a foot of fresh snow. Depending on where you were with the wind, it was both. Took the 830 bus and there was a little crowd for the Silver Queen lift. On the lift shortly after 9 and went down paradise to the paradise lift. Little wind blown on top but boot deep fresh in spots lower. Down it again to Lower Treasury which had untouched snow. Wasn’t the lightest snow and made you work but it was grate.
Down something else to SQL and said byes to @AtomicSkier. Kept lapping woods, bumps, and packed pow until my legs hurt. Pretty much stayed Horseshoe to international area down to SLQ with occasional runs to Paradise lift. Caught the 115 back and the roads in down were already dry.
Had a ton of fun and my legs are worked. It was a good day.

Liter of Margarita with dinner and extra fire time(thanks @Barb!) is feeling great. Getting some work done before more ski play tomorrow.

Great day with great weather. Managed 18.1k between 9-12 with a lunch break at the Umbrella bar. Back to the house and met up with @AtomicSkierfor a tour on Snodgrass this afternoon.

Left 8:41, full wipeout on ice walking in boots 8:43, caught the bus 845. Waiting in line 856 and got 5thish chair. Sunny days and the groomers feel nice with a little dusting yesterday. Went Paradise to bear to lower ruby and is becoming one of my favorites. Up paradise since east river has a delayed opening down to SQL again.

Crested Butte requires some kind of additional permit to get a hot tub, they limit the number and they are expensive. So tell @mute1080there is a large “soaking tub” in the bathroom that he can put some epsom salts in and kick back.
Thanks for using the coasters! Do you guys flush every time or are you a “if it’s yellow let it mellow” sort of bunch?
There’s a toilet? Atomic told me I had to melt the driveway.

Headed up Paradise after lunch and visibility was gone. Was going to call It there but the bottom vis wasn’t too bad and gave it another chance on Silver Queen. Wasn’t as bad at the top and found a couple inches of fresh snow. Lapped Monument to International with some snow hitting above the boot. Caught the 245 back and a remix of Whitney Houston “I want to dance with somebody” is currently playing thanks to DJ @AtomicSkier.

Nope, but he did offer me granola. I had my left over noodles.
Snow showed up with @AtomicSkierand made visibility even worse. Currently having a burger and beer at Paradise.

Grabbed the 915 bus with cloudy skis. Up Silver Queen and down Paradise to the Paradise lift. Lower Ruby is a ton of fun with root rollers. Lapped that again, back up paradise and went Peoria and Horseshoe Springs since the sun doesn’t want to peak out. Springs is still crunchy but the bumps are nice. Down to SQ and did and international run. Easy to go 0-60 in a hurry that whole run. On SQ now and can see a snow shower moving in from the west. @AtomicSkiermight join at some point

Made it! The MAX 9 crushed it to Denver with a tail wind and landed 55 minutes early. Too bad our gate wasn’t open for another 60 so we sat. 30 minute flight to GUC and my dirty Blue BMW Uber was already waiting when we landed. Had to give him an extra tip because baggage took a while.
Checked out @Barb’s awesome place quick and then caught the bus to the mountain. Got the tour from @AtomicSkierand skied some nice spring snow. It was quite warm and locals have some fun outfits going on. I need to learn the trail map a bit more but we were front, side, and back of Mount CB from what I could tell.
The Truly’s made it safe in the ski bag and are very refreshing after an afternoon of skiing. Hopefully hitting a dispensary and some take out dinner tonight.
(Current song from @AtomicSkier’s playlist is Miley Cirus “can’t stop” and I’m alright with it)

On my first leg PHL to DEN to see @AtomicSkier (and maybe @Barb?🤞🏻) Beat the GPS ETA by 6 minutes so I’m off to a good start. Even without cars I still think 76 sucks to drive, though boaters row looked nice in the dark.
Used Preflight parking thanks to @trackbiker’s suggestion. The shuttle was at my car unprompted before I turned the car off. My favorite part was the painters tape they used in the lights to set the mood.
Right through security and checked out the 737 MAX 9 waiting at my gate (@saltyant you see this!) Currently at Chickie’s and Pete’s for breakfast with a Conshocken Type A.

Redeemed two guest passes for today and they didn’t work of course. My guest pass said “cancelled” and Boo’s season pass stopped working. Went in to fix it and after them saying they’re good, the passes swapped working/not working in our group and my season pass stopped working. Went in again and they said it was because we have separate season pass accounts that they connected(wtf?)
Wish I could have stayed for the parking lot drama but had to go. Hopefully there’s a breakdown.

He said it went grate! Rite Aid has their shit together. In and out in under 15 minutes. Everyone working was upbeat and in a good mood. Couple interesting characters hanging out like someone was going to drop a needle out of their back pocket though. Sounds like an episode of Chappelle.
