Riddle me this...
One of my guys tested positive so he's been out for 2 weeks. Told him he can't come back till he's negative. So he's out for 2 weeks and goes to get tested. The doc said he doesn't need to get tested and is cleared for work. Doc said even if he tests positive again he can't pass it on. What? I tell him fuck that go get tested.
So then he goes to schedule a test and is turned down by 3 places saying he already tested positive and won't test him again.
He finally found someone to test him but wtf.
Yeah, new guidelines. I’m sure [mention]toast21602 [/mention]has the specifics but I believe they think the transmission period is only a couple days before symptoms and a couple days after. 10 days from last symptoms is usually back to work no test.-

Skied 6-8, lapping Paradise and Lazy with the fam. Got half of a run with Marty but didn’t see anyone else. Snow was decent with just a couple scrape spots in the high traffic areas. Crowds weren’t too terrible, lots of kids. I was spoiled at Elk Monday with zero crowd and miss the empty midweek nights of old now.
Back at it tomorrow morning, hopefully with some fresh snow overnight.

Today was great! Slight delay when I drove past the exit(thanks Siri) but caught up to the group on top around 915. Conditions were awesome and it was empty. Thanks to @rummy for the pizza and @enjoralas for his meat skills. It was fun skiing with everyone!

Went for a night session with the family and it was fantastic. It was a comfortable 28° with the clouds moving out. I haven’t had no crowds in a while and we skied right on to the quad every time. The kid is crushing it and after a couple Paradises we moved to Lazy. Snow had a couple scrape spots but was still mostly loose fresh goods.

Perhaps she's there for the race thingies going on??
The race team must be super important since they get to completely cut the line all the time and board the lifts while us peasants get the joy of watching them cut in front regardless of how long we've been waiting there.
Her son is racing today. The daughter was a racer too but messed her knee up on 1/2/21.-

Snow was grate! Managed 3 runs on paradise in 90 minutes. Lines weren’t too bad but mask wearing was dumb. The coverage is awesome to see at Blue. Chatted with@nastarglenn in the lot before going out and caught @paridgerider in the line. Hope everyone had a great night.

Yes it's still open with an experts only sign. Very good packed pow with some rando fluff around.
Some boomer was given shadows the business about the lift line and then last run another even older dude came over to talk to me about the falls. [emoji849][emoji849][emoji849]
I swear it's the same random every year that feels the need to hunt me down in the lift line to talk about falls. Part of me wants to chase him down in the line and lecture him about how shitty he skis but I lack his over inflated sense of entitlement.

Today was awesome. I had to run to work first thing but thankfully they closed and I was able to get to Blue before 9. Great people and great snow made for 10/10. The apres beer just topped it off.
Blizzard like conditions made a fun drive home. Didn’t have any issues but the road disappeared a couple times.
