  1. I was last night...I would say I fish with the kayak one out of every three trips. it depends on where I'm fishing. If I'm doing beach front or fishing from jetties, I'm on foot. My casting range is limited with the fly rod, so the kayak is definitely helpful Yeah, I fish bridges and light/shadow lines a lot at night, the kayak is nice since I can get to spots that aren't accessible on foot. My fishing time decreased after my daughter was born too, but night fishing still works and doesn't affect family time too much
  2. Love that area. I spend a lot of time fishing from Somers point down to cape may
  3. Salt...I was fishing back bays behind stone harbor and Avalon.
  4. Took a nice paddle and met up with some of my finned friends
  5. Nice, wish I was able to check out the Beavers terrain but lift was closed the day I was there. I had fun in the trees off Montezuma. The runs off mountain goat traverse or whatever had a lot of good snow
  6. Yeah I guess it moved. I was at the new location when I was in Colorado earlier this month. Here's the new address. I thought it was in Dillon but I guess it's still Silverthorne Pho Bay (Silverthorne) Address: 270 Summit Place Shopping Center, Silverthorne, CO 80498 Telephone: (970) 368-6530 Monday-Saturday 11am-9:30pm Sunday Closed
  7. Nice reports. Copper is awesome. I remember doing gold digger, it was groomed nicely. Did you hit any of the back bowls? The Vietnamese place in Dillon (Pho Bay) is good. There's a German place in Frisco that's good, I think it was called Prost or something. Also a cajun place that's good, Lost Cajun.
  8. nice pics, that Bloody Mary looks delicious.
  9. Have a good trip, looking forward to the pics. Looks like you should get some snow this week
  10. Loveland does have a high speed quad. I think its pretty new but it doesn't cover a lot of trails, at least ones I wanted to do. Southwest and other airlines had computer issues the week I flew out and had to rebook flights over the next few weeks. Could be why your flight got changed too.
  11. He doesn't want to show off his spring ski outfits
  12. You'll need some bigger wheels to get over the cookies on Razors. I have a ton of stuff taking up space in my basement from when my daughter was an infant, so if there's anything in particular you still need, let me know...
  13. Yeah I missed it by a week. Winter Park reported 21".
  14. That might actually be this one. It's near a bunch of hotels behind the 7-11/Dunkin Donuts. Dillon Dam Brewery in Silverthorne is pretty good too and has great happy hour specials.
  15. Baker's Brewery in Silverthorne has some great food also...and as the name suggests, they have a lot of baked goods and desserts. Their fried ice cream was pretty awesome.
  16. Belle is 8 hr round trip for me...so not quite my backyard. I have other hobbies, but with a name like Live2Ski I understand you want 2 ski as much as possible. My username was going to be PSUFlyFishSnowboardDrinkBeerAndPoop but it wouldn't fit. Anyway post pics if you go. I like pictures and reports
  17. I don't know much about partying in Breckenridge, but I can recommend some breweries in the area if you want. Copper has tickets for $ 85 all next week, I think you have to purchase online though.
  18. Well, since you asked us so nicely...the answer is no. I just got back from a nice few days in Colorado and am more than happy finishing my season with that trip. I guess I'm just not hardcore enough.
  19. Awesome, looking forward to your report. What mountains are you planning on going to?
  20. Yeah I don't keep track of stats either. Skiing/riding in PA is still fun for me though (although 2 days of cat skiing is going to be tough to beat, even though there was no fresh snow). I'm happy just to get out and do some runs, and if it sucks, there's always beer.
  21. Back to prison, i mean work today. I have a bunch of pics on my camera I'll upload in the next day or two and post them here. It was nice to hit some different mountains since I normally just do Steamboat. Copper had a ton of variety, and they had a lot of runs that were actually groomed nicely. Not that I mind the "western groomers" that aren't as smooth, but it was nice to switch it up a bit during the day. I'd like to spend more time at A-Basin and Loveland too. The stuff off lift 9 at Loveland was awesome, and would be really good on a sunnier day.
  22. I think I missed toast by about an hour. I'm in Chicago now. Toast, if you have time to kill, Root Down is a good restaurant with local beers, if you're in terminal C
  23. I'm heading home too just boarded. DEN isn't as scenic. I have a layover in Chicago, looks like some good lunch options there
  24. Yeah all the cat stuff is pretty steep but there are a few spots off lift 9 that are more mellow. There was one that was a steep chute/gully but no rocks to worry about...that was fun
