I'm not sure if I'll be making first chair tomorrow....McGregor / Diaz fight tonight and Karen has friends coming over which means mass quantity of brew will be consumed.... 5am going to be rough... However I almost need to make it because I want to be home, showered and on my couch with beer in hand ready to DOOP like a mofo by 3pm.

As far as excersize and fitness goes..... Running and biking trump downhill skiing any day. I'm fat as fuck...can't run, can't bike.....can't really ski either I guess...but I can do that without getting winded...

Sunday for me....bringing Mike out, should be interesting....he hasn't been skiing in like 5 years. He has two moves..point them straight down the fall line and hockey stop. Lol

Exactly my point... I'm 42 years old, have 3 kids, and do physical labor as an occupation..... The older I get the more these seem to factor in to my decision making process...

I'm not sure what prepares someone mentally for something like that.... How did you prepare for Corbetts Doug?

The upper portion of this would be one of those....scary steep but what sketches me out the most would be pretty much any section really steep and so narrow that a hockey stop isn't possible....at that point I get mindfucked.

I can't honestly say that I've skied anything like that....however, I have shit myself surviving a few of those....

Sometimes it's tough to get the skis on top when your knees hit the upper part on some bars.... One time riding with my youngest he managed to get the bar between his boot and the ski at the arch so it was kinda scary when we couldn't raise the bar coming into the drop off. Luckily I was able to get it unhooked just in time.
