I bailed pretty much right after the 6 broke. My snow removal activities Fri/Sat had my upper body so sore i was really having issues using my arms to pole with. Like just getting out of the gate to the line of the 6 was an issue......then we had to go from the 6, when it broke, to the quad, which killed me. Great snow though. Not super crowded when i left, but way to crowded to be just running the quad for a bit.

I really enjoy steamboat. But of the 5 or so days i have skied there, only one of them was in less than really good conditions. The trees are really where its at there....there are trees for everybody, meaning steep to some really low angle stuff. The steeper stuff over by the Chutes, North St Pats, East face...we had a ball in there last time we went. Chute 2 is kinda where i had a discussion with myself, looking through a very narrow, steep throat where you just kinda had to point them straight for a bit and hope everything comes out ok on the other end of this. I remember thinking, "if i fuck this up, its gonna be big." Anyways, i would love to see your pics of Chute 1 if you took any in there. I really havent skied "trails" there, unless it was in between the trees and the lift. 3 days is enough at steamboat though. I feel like the town and the hill are 1 entity. The town is really cool. Huh. Some time i would like to check that place out.

My burps smell like smoked brisket. not a horrible thing. Empanadas put on quite a show with the brisket and ribs.....fucking awesome dude! Oh, skiing was good too. put in 2 nice sessions.

What doesnt make you farty?

Burgers, buns, cheese, ketchup, mustard. Empanadas relish will really compliment the burgers. See you around 7.

Supposedly this storm was "one for the books" via Whiteface. Couldnt have timed that any better. And, yeah, i bet that camper/apartment thing is a beast in the snow.

At least you had some cones to make the snowblower feel pretty while you abandoned it.

Does anyone remember how delicious that spanakopita was last year? Just sayin,...you know. I'm going for a slight change of pace and gonna bring some good old fashioned burgers. More stuff if needed. see how the list shakes out and how many are actually coming.

Seems like this was a good storm for all of the east coast. Plattekill and Whiteface got hammered with at least 3'. Good to see the white stuff again.

a couple inches of snow in Delco, but its been sleeting since like 3 am. Chester county pretty much the same. Hopefully Blue is in the bulls eye for snow, less snow towards Philly is fine with me. Looks like the Poconos are doing well.

I will pick up some snausages as well for tomorrow.

skiing was nice today. I cant believe how long challenge stayed together.

I would start working on our sick voice for Tuesday. A diaper popped up at Beltzville 10 days ago, so Tuesday is a lock.

I was hoping the weekend thing would really pan out. Looks like i will be a rider of the tiny storm tomorrow rather than Tuesday. It doesnt look like i can get Tuesday off......now if it slows down some, and snows Wednesday......well i think that might be swell.

I have never been to the loft, but the above kinda screams out Alpina. I have had similar experiences there, just on a smaller scale. Not hating on the dude or his place, but i do know how he could do more business.
