If im not mistaken, BB was charging $50 over the weekend. Dragonfire is still not open.

its the slope in between Bunny Schuss, and Big Boulder. i cant spell it let along pronounce it, so i renamed it.

i assume they are adding Bunny Schuss and something else....they are saying 5 or more for this weekend, and last weekend there wasnt a lick of snow on Dragonfire, so probably no hope there.

Its been mums the word on the social media stuff as far as Frost, so i wont hold my breath. i think if there were even thinking of opening Frost, they would have said something. Again, debating on what to do this weekend. Boulder will be rinse and repeat if they dont open anything else. Have to head back saturday night, so no skiing for me sunday.

i have been hearing a little about next weeks set up. seems like there is a pretty good amount of moisture associated with it. we shall see.

i assume what is owed to the local and state government are liens on the property?

I vote for having a car. i have no experience with the shuttle though.

if this is all factual, it does paint a pretty grimm picture. KC hasnt been around since the begining of November, so i take that to mean things arent quite perfect at Sno. i still hope they get open, and have a great season. i need to take a trip up this year.

it doesnt get me pumped up to ski at boulder.

Unfortunatly it looks like our weather pattern for the next 2 weeks will be warm, cold, warm, cold. That sucks. i hope that changes....this year could almost start out worst than last year. lets hope once it gets going we see some sustained cold with snow.

i read something about this....maybe someone wants to put in a golf course? Powder Mtn is pretty cool just the way it is.

Funny. i was thinking the same thing when i was reading the TR from Blue on Saturday. This was top of BB, Sat. totally fogged in. Sunday was better, but still foggy. Although coverage on the slopes was good, the areas that connect the slopes could use some help. Fog seems to be snows arch nemesis. And it was $35 for the weekend.

Very fun day today, and some Big Boulder limited edition sunglasses to boot. Hopefully we will get some temps later on this week so they can open some other trails, and get going on Frost.

Do you have any idea what Freedom trail is like? its not that impressive. I am extremely excited and thankful the season is getting going, but it should get way better than just freedom by the weekend. Guns are on...6:00 am. 22 degrees but humid as shit.
