  4. well I always let people know its comming down, but at camelback especially, I was on the Stevenson, just got on, and it went flying out over that canyon thing, and then it JERKED to a stop. I always flew out of my seat. It's nice to rest your skis on, and plus you drive w/ your seatbelt on, why not ride w/ the bar down?
  5. haha greg + jeff skiing together = one big putz party!
  6. I think it's the law in most places. And plus it's just stupid not to put it down. Skidude and Racerchick can tell you, when you ride with me, THE BAR GOES DOWN!

  8. just yell jeff when you see a skier (in perfect form of course) wearing a red/grey/white jacket, black pants, black helmet, and my hotness red atomic skis flying by. That'll be me.
  9. age 16-21 is $33 on weekdays / $35 on weekends at blue i believe
  10. and i only leave the house to ski
  11. elk posted on thier website they're opening the 18th
  12. yea exactly...you don't want the whole park to be steep, or else you're asking for trouble. Parks should have relativly mellow terrain. A blue square would be nice for a park, no way would you want people flying down the top of challenge about to hit a jump. that would equal disastor
  13. nooooo, burma is never open on opening day. Too much snow needed. Last year lazy was open on opening day, and of course mainstreet and midway always are.
  14. expect to see Burma open before paradise, and Razors Edge to be open after Lazy Mile. Or so i'm guess. But paradise is usually lower on the todem pole, as they use Burma for a beginner trail right from the lodge, which is needed.
  15. Frankly, I'd like to see it only hit Blue, and places north of it. I do NOT want it to snow in highly populated residential areas (Lehigh Valley / Philly) because when people see snow in their front yards, they want to ski

    P-tex

I believe what you're describing is a soldering iron. They can get very hot, and burn right on through your base, so be careful!
  18. yea, i didn't even look to see if they were making snow on lazy, but they are...i'd expect to open saturday, or sunday... It seems as if they've stopped making snow on the TP
  19. I love wearing my helmet. Its so comfortable, and its the norm for everyone to wear them now, so it's not like "ohhhh you're a wuss cause you wear a helmet"
  20. nah it wasn't that, cause the camera was on my heated passenger seat. I forgot to charge them after my Florida/NC trip over thanksgiving

  22. Well, unfortunatly, my digital camera ran out of batteries as i pulled into Blues parking lot to get some close up shots, but I still got some...oh well.... Preseason snowmaking at Blue!
