  1. I agree, on their snow report for tonight they say they have a 48in base on freedom. I cant believe they wont have other trails open.
  2. from jfbb.com: Big Boulder is giving back and needs your help! Boulder is opening for the season Friday, November 21 - 4:00pm to 10:00pm. This night will be dedicated to 3 deserving local charities. By helping these charities you will receive a complimentary snow pass for this evening. Here's a breakdown on the local charities and what you can do to help: * Toys for Tots: Bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more and receive a complimentary snow pass * Food Pantry: Bring 10 non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, gravy, boxed food ect and receive a complimentary snow pass * Homelss Shelter "Family Promise": All food and beverage proceeds from this evening will be donated to a local homeless shelter for families in Stroudsburg, PA * Guests that come to Big Boulder without any of the above items can ski/ride for $25. Big Boulder will continue operations on Saturday from 10:00am to 10:00pm, Sunday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and midweek from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. All snow passes are just $25. At this time there are no equipment rentals or snowsport lessons available.

  9. does anyone know if jfbb has made any snow lately, they never update their site.
  10. This is great. Ill be home next week for spring break and cant use my creek pass. I will deff be hitting this up.
  11. The last time I was at Boulder I hit up the bar after my last run and got talking to one of the groomers, he said they were going to try and stay open until may. He did say that without the snow mobile races they would save alot of snow. I hope they do stay open that late, it would be insane to be riding in pa in may.
  12. if you go on lifttopia.com you can find creek i think wed they have tickets for 24 bucks or something.
  13. Sounds good, I am normally home during the weekends but I would be down for saturday. I'll shoot you a pm later on in the week to try and set something up.
  14. They did away with the park passes. you buy a lift ticket your free to ride the parks.
  15. This is my first tr, but I figure Ill give it a try. The sun was out in full force temps very comfortable and no class all day so I decided to put my season pass to work.... Drove down rt 94 and could see the guns on which was a nice sight to see at creek. pulled into south about 1pm and booted up. No line no wait for the first four runs. They were blowing sown on trails Ive never seen open before which was also a nice change of pace. South over all conditions were pretty good a few icy spots under fresh snow. i felt the snow was a little slow but cant really complain. I moved over to granite since it was the first day it was open, parked up by the granite condos for grade a parking. It was good to ride granite again, they were bowling snow all over for the most part. Granite was very empty just the way I like it, snow was pretty good though there were some icy spots around a couple of turns. I decided to ride over to north to try out the "backside" of the mountain. It was good to have more terrain to ride over at north, the guns were on and light crowds so it made for some fun riding. Took a little bit of a break and took a couple of more runs and headed back over to granite since the ski clubs and such rolled in. Took a couple of runs and decided to leave at about 445 pm. Overall it was a good day it was good to see creek blowing snow and opening more trails finally, now I just need to find someone to ride with and Ill be straight.
