Hmmm - let's analyze that statement and the response. Everyone who responded to it, took as some type of negative hate. I rest my case on the stereotype HOLY CRAP !!! Exactly at the same time I am typing this, I caught a CNN byte about Bode "all the hate mail he is recieving." What the hell is the matter with you guys? Hmmmm.. wrong, there is no singular person in that comment and is not negative, but ironically there are people who have obviously taken it that way. Matter of fact it is an exclamation of adoration, can't you guys read? Interesting, any psych majors on here? Okay here is the Bode segment....... Word is that the progression with the park at RT is diminishing comparitively to previous years. Meanwhile, BC is expanding and notching things up for next year, talk of a Superpipe and dedicated racing trails. RT and BC are both 90 minutes from home. We will have Night passes to BC at a minimum for next year. My money is on BC

yeah.. spinners and one footed sliders only! It was a great competition. Take time to look at all the categories they were judged in. Steven did well in moguls, slopestyle, big air, slalom - so so in Big Mountain, Half-Pipe and carving.. Most of them in that video are 12 and 13 - steven is 12 - he is no stranger to spinning at 50'

Yeah the reality is that there is one person who stands in the way. Look, don't give up and roll over. On the DL, I have been asked to hang in one more year. I probably will do that, based on all the positive comments I have heard repeatedly about the new owner. While changes can occur overnight, they typically don't. Assassin is on the right track in my opinion. By gathering the vocal majorities' list of suggested improvements we all - including the weekender stand more to gain. BTW - this is a great forum and the PA mountains all read nearly everything here as do a multitude of other influential people who never log on. Trust me, they know what's being said.

Shadows, don't knock for someone for trying to make a change. However I tend to agree with you in a big picture scheme of things. I only have one idea for change at CB. Here is what it boils down to, It boils down to the new owner and the General Management. The GM at CB must be replaced, his personality is prevalent everywhere throughout the staff and policies at CB and it will continue to be, as evidenced by a letter that I recieved from him one month ago. To put things in comparison, the GM at another mountain would never ever speak or write to a pass holder the way he does. LEAVE RICH! Take you and your old school archaic stuff with skiforever to some private mountain... please.

Bode Miller has single-handedly breathed new life into a stagnating sport with old-school values and traditions <cough> Don't judge Bode by what he says, but what he does on the hill. What if.. All you Bode bashing ski racers who haven't accomplished what he has were bashed on, how would you feel? You haters set such a fine example, a fine example of what I want my kids to NOT grow and be.

Trust me when I tell you that the upper management is not concerned about the core skiing community who call CB home. They think that they do more than enough for the ski team for example. Their focus is on the family weekend ticket and getting Camelbeach open.

More trails with some character, enough of the fall line trails.. I have never seen lift lines that would warrant higher uphill capacity.
