Today was fun despite lift issues, awful conditions on lazy and less awful conditions Paradise. Lazy went from bad to Detroit rock City. I think it was the first time I've seen cookies go from bad to worse. Usually it's the opposite. That said, vista, easy out, lower main and even chute were really good...as was the company for course

The monkees were my jam back in the day. True story...I was a wee one, but my parents took me to veterans stadium in 1986 (I think it was) to see them. Another true story...went to the Michael Jackson Victory tour also (83 or 84?) at JFK stadium.. I think I was 6. Lol I remember them both pretty well. Stay turned for "more crap about me that no one cares about but this is what happens when I'm stuck in the car waiting for my kid to finish volleyball practice."

I had to bail around 930 today but great day and a pretty damn good first 3 days at Blue mountain to kick off the year with decent conditions overall and more terrain each day. Excellent way to start the ski season!

Today was a lot of fun. Really great first run on Paradise. Best run of the short year by far. Really good conditions up on vista as well. Midway and lower main were OTOH were the complete opposite. Excellent "summit s'mores latte" at first chair coffee. Major major props to Blue for upping their coffee game

Yes only two runs down from the top and conditions were usual blue (aka not great) but I was skiing with the PASR crew and THAT was great; not to mention, the guns were ablaze under the sunshine and the weather was perfect. Overall an awesome opening day! looks like chute to lower main, as well as come around are really close to opening up. Happy ski season all!!

I’m not too worried about what’s open tomorrow tbh, except for Rise and Grind as I’d like to celebrate ski season with an apres ski latte.

Yeah it’s pretty slick up here. We had someone stop over earlier who came in from stroudsburg a she called it “a different world” up here because of the snow. Reminded me of this song.

We did indeed get a few inches last night. Right now schools at a 2 hour delay but I wouldn’t be surprised if they updated it to a full on snow day.

She's outside of Phoenix now. Sedona's my spot. Not as hot as the valley, 65 and sunny in the winter with 250 inches and almost 3k vert 45 minutes to an hour up the road. You get it all there. Although I agree Flagstaff is awesome but housing is so expensive

Here’s a blast from the pasr past…remember when that dude got angry at blue because they used generic ski pics that had Rocky Mountains in the background. That was a hoot. He said it was false advertising. Then there was the guy that was mad that blue kept the lights on all night.

Anyone know why every time I go to redeem my buddy passes I get this stupid page? Is it because they haven’t opened yet?
