Got there around 9:30 today and skied with the masses. It was ok. I somehow managed an empty main run t2b on good snow which was nice. I feel like main is sort of an unsung hero this year as far as conditions go. Everything else was decent to shitty, with the shitty being wherever the sugar was deepest, mainly on the flats and run outs. @Johnny Law told me im the lot that there's some good to be found however and that was true. The best part of the day was watching the multitude of people attempting to enter the VIP gate and baffled as to why it wasn't working. I guess people just automatically assume that they're VIPs....idk. When one liftie questioned one of them, he responded with "I have Icon" thinking that would get him through the pearly gates. It didn't and hats off to the liftie who, in response, told him "that's not a blue mountain pass, you need to get in the other line". -
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow you're only a day away. And Sunday
-
It took someone falling into the pond to actually get them to pump out that eye sore? How many beer cans did the lifties have to push aside to actually get to the person.

Nearly 50 years in business. You'd think they know not to blow snow onto the sensors by now

Yep I heard it along with some pretty heavy rain. Told myself that I was sleeping in today.

Sometimes it's more than conditions that make a great day. Thats the beauty of skiing. That was today.

9.2 out of 10 today in all seriousness I didn't hate it. It wasn't as good as last week but it had grip, the sun was out, the temperature was nice and the company was good. Fun morning overall

That's a shame actually. I remember frost being at or near capacity this week, on a few different occasions back when they were lined with the fan guns. Even a few seasons where the elevator was prime on new years day. Amazing that they seemingly haven't reinvested in snowmaking since they moved those guns up north.

Same. I’ll be back on Monday

JF and BB had were both lined with fan guns (all trails) that cranked out serious snow I wanna say around 2010ish. But (if I remember correctly) When peak resorts made the purchase of hunter, Mt snow and some other places in NE.. Peak shipped a good chunk of the fan guns up north (I'm fairly certain hunter got the majority of them). I think they still have some...idk (it's been a minute) but they had to revert to the old school portables again after that on a good chunk of terrain. That particular purchase didn't help JFBB from snowmaking perspective.

Yes skied challenge once. Probably the worst conditions of the day, but not terrible. Switch was better than yesterday. Mid trail, just before the first left turn, Johnny Laws jump (aka Law’s Leap) was extra prominent.

Just got back. Getting my kid up early yesterday was a Herculean feat that I wasn't going to be able to swing two days in a row. So we got there around 11. Crowds were somewhat crazy but conditions held up pretty nicely throughout...again mostly chalky with a few cookies here and there. I will say all three lifts running efficiently works wonders for crowd management. Still crazy but way less in terms of wait time if you find the right line to jump in. We rode the quad mainly but the og 6 wasn't too bad at times so we jumped on that here and there. Didn't ride the SSSix pack supreme due to long lines however. I honestly didn't think today would have been as enjoyable as it was with the crowds but on trail crowds weren't terrible, the sun was bright and the snow was good. Probably one of the funner crowded days that I can remember.

Fun day... Paradise was the best run of the day by far. Enjoyed razors a lot as well. Skied that a few times. Main was also good. Was nice skiing new terrain but the new terrain was meh. Free fall was kinda bad as was switchback, which seems like its open prematurely (it's kinda narrow). Lazy was nice. Overall a fun day that looked and felt like winter in the mountains. Aesthetically pleasing I'm sure for the masses skiing this week. Back tomorrow at some point -
KSLs poured a lot of dough into the place so far. No way they're backing out now.

Long time to be stuck in a gondola. You know someone probably farted.

Plan b in effect. Pushed the trip out

The air was cold, the latte was hot and the conditions were excellent! Great day in fact great weekend at Blue. I don't recall being this stoked on Main Street in a while. Barney's groomer was so $$ and that first run on razors was what you wait all summer for. Blue should have a great holiday week conditions wise with the forecast.

Today a 9 out of 10 awesome day. Everything was good. Upper main was 10 out of 10 good. Lazy made a complete turnaround from last week. Skied razors first run and that was excellent. Not to mention....all 3 high speeds were turning which meant minimal to no lines on great conditions. Blue was like a real ski area today, without the drive. Shout out to the dude with the green jacket and Fischer skis who's a PASR fan. We know you're reading this lol. Sign up and chime in!
