If slopeside isn't a necessity look at Midvale or cottonwood heights. Close to LCC and BCC with plenty of ski shuttle stops. The Crystal Inn is nice, affordable and has a shuttle stop right out front. Only downside is distance from Ogden (as Toast alluded to) in the event you were looking to ski the areas out there. But if you're looking to ski the resorts on the ikon its a good option.

How much in the way if thin / bare is there? I'm really hoping I haven't skied my last day at Blue (or anywhere) this season.

How long before you can ride again?

At least no one can say you don't have a set dude. Hope the injury is minimal and you can keep riding.

Salty are you waiting for the price to drop to $170 before you purchase? (Disclaimer given the recent turn of events and your seemingly unhappiness with PASR of late... That was a joke)

Don't get me wrong, I'll always have good memories from my time at Frost but when's the last time JF or BB saw an actual, tangible upgrade? The fan guns 10 years ago maybe? And weren't some of those shipped off to other mountains? Blue's cutting trails, upgrading snowmaking capacity, advertising a hotel / condos, making slopeside / lodge enhancements, adding pulled pork sandwich trucks etc. Yeah "coming soon" trail is taking a while and who really knows if the condos will actually be built. But you gotta give Blue props for trying. That alone warrants a season pass purchase because from me cause they give a crap. Seems like the plan for JF and BB (and I could be way off) is to simply maintain what they have and keep letting its location (lake harmony is popular with tourists) bring in the $$. What incentive is there for pass holders to stay there year in and year out? I'd love to know what the long-term plan is there.

There's a hampton inn and a country Inn and suites in Lehighton on 209 right off the turnpike. Both of which are really nice. While I never stayed in either, I've used each multiple times for when I need to drop a D on my commute. Highly recommend
