  1. Good snow. Crowds dissipating. Fun day.
  2. Call Blue. See what they can do.
  3. Well I had one day at BB. I figure 10 days at Blue. $500 for the pass breaks out to $50. Isn't that the magic number?
  4. Same. Also yesterday was my 11th day overall. Three more days than all of last season!

I'm not opposed to a faux village. Once it's built doesn't it then become real? A faux village to me are the ceramic houses that I put under the tree at Christmas with the tiny little people and cars. The one's that my kids like to break.

They have Kickapoo which is fun but Blue has a few of these. Mohawk and Iroquois are nice steep runs, but nothing crazier than the challenge and razors headwalls. edit...sorry TNT. didn't mean to threadjack with Blue stuff. haha

Respectfully disagree with the the variety thing. Blue has everything that Elk has and then some. Blue even has marked glades whereas elk threatens to take your pass if you're caught in the woods (gasp). Elk definitely has less in the way of crowds and usually better snow. For trails though Elks cool but I gotta give it to Blue there.
  8. Just got back. Arrived around 7:45. I went later hoping for light crowds but found the exact opposite. The place was insane. Lots of human slalom, riding the quad to avoid the lines on the 6 pack etc. Snow was what pretty decent for an extremely busy MLK Sunday evening though. Scraped off in the center of the trails, nice loose snow on the sides. No sugar. NMDW was really nice. Honestly I love that love that trail. Switchback was fun as always but extremely slick (and dark). Really really wanted to ski Razors but it was roped off and marked as "not open to the general public" although the non-general public was nowhere to be found. So that was a tad frustrating. Challenge was slick, divits etc. When the quad closed at 9, the 6 pack lines went 20 or 30 people deep...at 9 freaking pm. Wanted a another run or 2 but I didn't want to wait in the lines...again at 9 freaking pm. So I called it a night. In the words of Kendrick Lamar, I sound mad but I ain't stressin' cause I had a fun evening, just hate crowds but it's to be expected this weekend I guess.
  9. That place is so on my list. Keep the CB pics coming Barb.
  10. Nice work Mike. That raised my stoke levels bigly.
  11. I'm out tomorrow. Monday morning for sure. Sunday at some point. I gots a lot happening this weekend.

    ooooh. I'm intrigued!
  13. One of the finest trails in PA is open. woo hoo. I'll be there over the weekend at some point to ski it. Raining pretty hard right now.
  14. Just scored a buttery smooth cord run on paradise. Groomer making it's way uphill To groom out Razors
  15. Just arrived. Broke out the "greeners" for the occasion. Temps are warm, crowds are light.
  16. Thinking about going tonight
  17. Dakine seems to work pretty well for me as well.
  18. This thread needs pics.
  19. honestly the Waffle Cabin is the best thing to happen to Blue since they cut razors.
  20. Didn't see the 2nd part of your question. Snow was good on most of Paradise, especially the upper portion. Tuts was good too. Basically any area with blow over from the snow guns was fun. Burma was decent. Lazy was a minefield on each end with ice in the middle. Didn't ski Challenge since my kid was sore from softball and wanted no parts of it.
  21. Beautiful.
  22. Lift lines are the 6er were insane. Quad wasn't too bad. We rode that the whole night The evening ended with a proper send off...
  23. Lots of freaking peeps here. It's packed. Plenty of sugar and ice although really nice in certain spots. Not a bad evening. A ton a people at slopeside relaxing and watching playoff football. A decent evening at Blue the true.
  24. For some reason I find this hilarious. Haha
