they closed at 3 on a saturday, 6.5 days rounds up to 7 days.

they have morning tix and afternoon tix that are $39, im considering that if camelback is charging their advertised $53.

I know you guys like to give me a lot of shit for complaining about these closings, but this is the 5th time this season they have closed days in advance of forecasted rain that didn't materialize. I understand they are not making money, but just be honest and say that. Literally every mountain including spring is open today. If it was pouring rain I would understand, but just be honest with us.

I want to. Thanks to blue, I have to go out tonight and have a social life. I was planning on going to bed early and waking up at 530 to ride. Instead, I have to be out late tonight and then find something to do tomorrow. I also cannot take a nap tomorrow, cause waking up at 10 and taking a nap from 2-4 is a waste, but coming back from riding and taking a nap is acceptable. This closure isn't just a loss of riding for me, it is a complete change in the past 4 month's Saturday/Sunday schedule that I had not mentally prepared myself for.

i cannot remember a season where blue closed this many times

almost every sunday the west chester jeep guys fly past us on 476, however, they take a whack ass way to get to blue and we end up beating them there. somehow they come out at the stoplight near the whitehall wawa. literally almost every sunday morning

thanks to doug years ago referring to Big Dawg booters, i still call blue mountain booter mountain, aka the boot. alot of people dont know that the doors riders on the storm was originally called riders on the boot and about booter mountain. i sing it on the lift most wednesdays. unfortunately barb green would not sign off on the samples, so jim morrison had to write an alternate version. i prefer riders on the boot better

closing 7 hours early does not count as a day of being open, come on now.

ya freedom is for early season shenanagans, i expect bb to open before blue. i dont expect blue to close down for 4 fucking days in a row when there is still snow on the ground even in philly. also, spring mountain is a place where legends are made so i had to show up this season (I rode blue that morning anyway)
