Day 4: second day at steamboat. Of my 14 or so trips out west, by far the worst conditions I have ever ridden. Icy death everywhere. Freeze/thaw was real bad, temps in the 50's during the day and in the high 20's at night but the sun did not come out til 2:00. After 2:00 was spring like Day 5: ditto To be continued

Sorry for no reports, been avoiding the outside world for the past week and a half. Day 1: flew into Denver, crashed in golden at a guy from pa's condo. Got a Ford Focus for the rental car which is exactly what I wanted. It was 75 degrees Day 2: thanks to the kindness of barb, rode at copper for half price. Spring conditions, my first time there. I rank it above keystone but below break and vail. drove through Wyoming I mean north west Colorado. Day 3: first steamboat day, very spring like, temps in the 50's To be continued

thats brooklyn. some of the homes pictured are over $2 million. 1,500 square feet and having to worry about vandals trespassing in your yard -

so i was thinking maybe houses that have subway tracks directly behind them would be cheaper than other houses in the neighborhood, considering trains run constantly 24/7 so maybe the houses are cheaper cause they rattle and shake every 5 minutes, plus you have to worry about vandals trespassing in your back yard. nope, the houses in the picture are still 7 figures -

its amazing how many railroads there used to be all over america that no longer exist, even in the middle of no where. there are multiple abandoned lines within minutes of my parent's house and i would guess that 90% of people who live in the area have no idea they even used to exist. -

i just googled LVRR map and the thing is really extensive. looks like i will be doing some studying this afternoon. i see a line on the front face of blue that went to kunkletown. -
ill only pay money to any PA place when blue isnt open, and thats really only early season or late season rates. it could be elk, camelback, or anywhere else.

ive been studying various railroad ROW's on google maps, both active and abandoned. as JLaw could probably tell you, property rights involving ROW's over private property is super complicated -
