'xactly! of all the times mountain biking and skiing in shitty conditons, weather, sick, not on my game (either physically or mentally), too busy, hungover, too hot, too cold, had the shits, bonked, tired, etc. etc. - i can't really ever remember thinking "i wished i wouldn't have come out today". i constantly remind myself of this when i'm on the fence about going out...

haha not boring for sure, don't know if you know where the second pic is from but just after i snapped that i ate shit big time navigatingthe left turn drop down/ hard right across the little foot bridge! i never thought of jacobsburg as rocky in any way til i skiid it with minimal cover terrifying in a shit eating grin kinda way for sure with no edges and very little boot support - think high top sneakers or hiking boots. wanna bump it up to a decent xc/bc boot, 3 pins and a little fatter metal edged ski

great conditons at jacobsburg yesterday. far exceeded my expectations - brought both bike and skis just in case, with 6-7" light snow the skis were the way to go. some good tracks down and soft enought to trail blaze and even try a few turns and water bar hops. 2-1/2 hrs maybe 8 or miles... anybody wann make some soup? snow's prolly all gone now, fun while it lasted

good news for me too - i overdid it on the xc skis yesterday and am stiff as shit today. they are making it up, so good news for all! To: Monday Night Racing Team Captains Tonight's Monday Night Challenge series will NOT be held due to Blue Mountain Ski Area closing at 5:00pm. We will add a Monday night at the end of our scheduled nights to make up for tonight. Please share this information with your teams.

opening bell with mrs s and junior for some fresh tracks on razors and dreamweaver in 3-4 of powdah, than lots of fun in the chowdah skiers right of main and the bumps a hoot early then got kinda squirelly snowed all morning tapered off around 11 dropping 6 or so of heaven saw kt dan? and hugo. had a beer in the lot thats all i got

very sad to see someone so gifted and beautiful taken doing something we all love. was nice to hear her and her family chose organ donation to help others in their time of great loss (from the father of a transplant recipient) may her family and friends find many blessings, strentgh and peace

its been a good mix in past years, tarponhead can to speak about this year. probably a third that have never been in a race course before, nastar or otherwise; a third that might be do a casual nastar course once in awhile for a bronze; and a third "racers" or racer wanna-be's. they are only 1 week into it becuase of last tuesdays rain - sign up! the focus is really on carved turn technique with some gate practice.

new course on razorback is a blast for sure. the second headwall messes with my head, can't seem to process it and maintain rythm/setup.
