my son was 11 at the beginning of last season and i ended up getting him dynastar serial troubles, twin tip 80 underfoot (now "6th sense" i think)and have been very happy with the choice. you may want to go a bit wider out there but a solid twin will give him a good tool for the park as well as let him rip up the rest of the mountain. while he's not a real super park rat he spends alot of time there with his buddies - where da boys want to be!!! he's pretty tall and i went long with 154's and theyre short now after 2 seasons while not a junior ski per se i think most twins are marketed to that age and ski a little softer.

are you a race parent? did you get the letter? i know the changes to timberline a few years ago and the aj kitt affiliation was all intended to grow the jr race program, wonder why the change in direction...

mt snow can be done in just under 5 - maybe 4.5 in the middle of the night - but i usally figure 5. i like ms over stratton, never been to magic

good morning for sure - started out with sweet mid winter conditions, by mid morning turned into some prime spring skiing we musta crossed paths and i was lloking for ya but theres a shitload of doods with red jackets...

will be a game time decision for me - torn on wether to start doing the saturday am bike or hike thing or ski another day... if i end up going i'll look for ya vinny

looking good - anyone in the valley area want a few elk vouchers? theyre from stoketoberfest but i'm headed up to whiteface tommorow and won't be around to use them

It was pretty good thinking about the soreness in my legs and day dreaming about the weekend's surprise few inches of snow and the little xc adventurethat that made them that way until i saw these pics nice!
