More and more places use the RFID readers..the save paying multiple employees scanning lift passes

I think I only skied 8 runs today 5 the first hour and 3 the second.

Today wasn't the day to be at Blue unless you were there for rope drop..you made the right choice Senor Capri Sun!!!

Nah I party moderately...if I party hard, I end up freestyle rapping, dropping down and getting my eagle on or I end up waking up at 4am with my shoes still on and a puddle of piss under my sink.

Your skiing today wasn't as good as yesterday at Camelback..wow just wow..I know you got less runs but had to be better runs. I can understand how free food and getting to hang with juicebags on opening day at Camelback was your best. Maybe come up with some sort of rating system to keep things objective.

Ahhh the 90s when my mom would always get me the wrong kind of pop tarts, I watched scrambled porn, dial up internet, sonic the hedgehog, Michael Jackson was still relevant and near the end of the decade Third Eye Blinde was on the radio..you can find me in the 90s bro watching the fresh prince of bel air and doing the Macarena

I thought most people these days get unlimited data. I've always had unlimited data. Anyway Salty is still undecided about if he wants to switch from Camelback to blue after today's long liftlines but normally the lines aren't than long and we have VIP lines for passholders on the quad and six pack.

Most go for the Main Street chair cause it's slightly faster and they didn't get Burma side open. Only the six pack would have been able to handle today's crowd m- 165 replies

Hey All, I'm back from a fun Sunday morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot around 7:25am and in the house were Toast, AtomicJeff, JFBB Dan, TP4, Guitar, SaltyAnt, Matt Edge, Root, Indiggio, MBike Mike, Mrs. Snowbunski, Nastar Glenn and many many many many more. Yesterdays predicted 1-3" turned out to be 6+ inches of snow across the region which brought out all the Tom Dick and Harry's. Conditions were very nice right out the gate and the only true hardpack was upper Main Street which debuted for the season today. Easy out, vista, come around, midway and Main Street were all nice midwinter conditions..the top of lazy mile was great bottom a little bit narrow still good just have to be careful passing people. Liftlines went from zero to 100 real quick. Most waits were like 5-12 minutes after about 8:45am was impossible to keep both lifts at full capacity with just two scanners but I had some nice runs am not complaining but I know people who got there after like 930-10 were only getting about 2.5 runs an hour which is rare but happens with a early snowfall with limited capacity I quit around 10am and even did the vista once for stoke and got some untracked..fun parking lot session and good people watching today..temperatures began around 20 and rose through the 20s into the low 30s with moderate wins and partly sunny sky's. 6-pack and lower lodge and lot along with tubing will be on tap for next weekend along with 7 days a week operation..high five for stoke pass it down.

Buying skis in April is torture because you stare at them for 7-8 months.

$547 with bindings here for those. Have you demoed them? Lots of skis online in the $200-$300 range. https://www.alpineshopvt.com/volkl-rtm-81-skis-with-marker-12-0-tcx-bindings-2017.html?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google+PLA&scid=scplp00821264610053&sc_intid=00821264610053&gclid=Cj0KCQiAsK7RBRDzARIsAM2pTZ_ZTSxMYQhLwxM-YrKkkBfMwyWK6JMaQRcb8bmZBBBP3usoTIEdBkUaAq1EEALw_wcB

I usually get hot and sour soup at buffets and I don't mess with the Chinese buffet sushi.

Ditto SaltyAnt is the best poster alive

Abasin actually just installed a rope tow there and I'll still likely skate along side the tow to see if I can go faster than the rope tow...
-
So what if you're tired..imagine some of the uphill skating and sideways traversing out west...I'm a pro at skating from my days at the fun rink..at abasin there is a slight uphill run to get to the backside it's maybe 200 yards long and I skate and poll full blast past people 70 pounds lighter than me and in superior shape..it's cause I get after it and that's at 12,000 feet. My body can handle it better than my lungs.
