Nice report. The top to bottom lifts at Stowe are great. A shame runs like Goat, Starr, ChinClip and Goat are likely closed. Big spruce has a few fun runs from the top. The old big spruce double used to go higher and you were allowed to use Stowe ticket for technically one run at smugglers notch. Was quite the experience I've done toll house lift to triple to double to quad to gondola over to spruce up little spruce up big spruce over to smugglers notch down sterling up sterling up Madonna down to morse mountain up morse and back. Quite the experience.

How is more energy used?? The six pack runs all day except for when it breaks down.

No lift lines today at blue would have taken me five hours at montage to ski what I skied in two hours at blue. Wow I guess it's not cold enough to blow snow on those trails.

That's pretty good time time..hope you're staying warm today. I bet the line for the gondola is the longest. Nosedive is a pretty sweet run. There used to be 7 turns at the top and now only three. Nosedive is a gateway to a lot of good tree skiing.

Hey all, I'm back from a nice Saturday AM session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 730am with temperatures in the low teens and blustery winds. Johnny law was already in the house and atomic Jeff, toast, JFBBDan, MBike Mike and GSSucks were all in the house. First civilian six pack and a sweet carpet on razors with a few skiffs of new pow pow..then a bonus second run on Razors..felt like stealing. Then hit up Nightmare dreamweaver which had such nice velvet either from the sky or snowmaking cannons I felt like I was floating wow just wow. Switchback was nice conditions and not many people and challenge was also pretty good although a bit of a wind tunnel. Crowds were light and no lifelines from 8am-10:10am. Skied a 7 run per hour pace which is mad steezy for a Saturday of presidents weekend. I'm so thankful I don't make my living in the ski resort business. They lose business when it's warm and cold and from a blizzard and then Tuesday gonna be a monsoon. Hung out in the parking lot for an hour and a half had a couple beers..on way home had to piss real bad ended up stopping in at my work to pee then stole bottled water and toilet paper and brought in the mail...JADIP

Yeah something about a state of emergency. That's for Allentown. Colder in blues microclimate. I won't be surprised if it's closer to -10 and blustery.

I wonder if there's enough coverage on the Bruce trail??? He can't Apres Ski that hard he's staying 30 miles away.

Phillycore and JFBBDan beat me to it. My mom was never an avid skier. She skied a little as a kid at apple hill and doe mountain and up at split rock..but fuck when I was in high school I would not turn down an opportunity to ski even if I was slumming it with my ski patroller uncle at Jack Frost...floyds was a lot steeper back then.. I'm starting to plan my April trip to Colorado maybe I'll see you and kragan out there and chippy and Jordan!!!

That must be for like a stone grind and shit something my mantras need. If you took your skis to buckmans to get tuned they'd probably say ok they'll be ready in a week. Terrible.

How long did the drive take??? Enjoy Stowe...it was my home mountain in college. I believe the quad opens at 730am weekends and gondola 830am. If you want a legit breakfast on the way to the hill check out the Bagel in Stowe 394 mountain road in the baggy knees shopping center. Or for a sit down meal check out McCarthys. Opens at 630am. Post skiing Happy Hour check out Pie-Casso, The sunset grille, the Matterhorn or the rusty nail.

David Choe is an amazing graffiti artist. He made major loot when in lieu of cash he took Facebook stock options for the artwork he did at Facebooks original headquarters and ended up cashing out like 100 million.
